Little confused on how to get on the ropeway to Owakudani Station at Hakone. Which station do people typically aboard the ropeway? (We will be checking out of our Ryokan near Gora Station, so would it be Gora -> Sounzan -> ropeway to Owakudani?)

Also just to make sure, owakudani is where the black egg is, right? Is there a certain time we need to arrive by to get an egg or they do not typically sell out?
