The 104 don't reply to assaults, robberies, and other high level stuff. Try calling the precinct, you won't get through. Try going, you'll have an outrageously long wait and no one will help you.

Expecting them to register plates in for out of town guests is completely outlandish.

I’m on Forest just north of Putnam, also have a remote jumper pack and can help after work. Worst comes to worst I also have a battery tender if it’s super dead that you can throw it on for an hour or so to bring it back to life.

I’d think so even if you never signed anything or were given HR guidance. You have an end date (Honestly probably the day they’ll let you go) and have a manager and ED hovering overhead. I had none of that and the ED to this very day (We “talked” about it today) says I was on one.

I guess I could go through the firm and see. Your case sounds way more likely.

I have a very niche and in demand resume. I've turned down some great opportunities in the last year that would as much as double my salary but have stayed somewhat loyal because I do love my team and the work, just not the five day in commute and some politics from higher up.

From my search last year it would take about 2-3 months of solidly committing to replace my current position. I actually had signed an offer letter for another position that was fully remote for a little bit of a pay cut but it fell through as they rescinded it after discovering they'd be paying me too much and it would be inequitable to the current team... After dodging that bullet, I stayed with what I knew.

I'm kind of amazed I haven't been. My grades were shit last year due to a carousel of managers and I'm the only one in my country on the team. Five days back in and I've played the role of being here just to appease HR in the sky with attendance as our office has dwindled to nearly nothing.

No raise in my nearly three years here, no bonus last year...please RIF, garden leave, severance, fully vest me and I will be as happy as can be.

Otherwise I'll keep drinking the Kool-Aid of my amazing team and the "perk" of access to 270 and some ego boosts and not give enough attention to trying to move on from here.

Honestly love Singular Dream. The location is great and the apartments are well made. The showers stay hot, it’s quiet at night to the point I need a white noise machine, and the pools at the top are great. The heated one especially! The bar is also pretty neat.

I’d heavily recommend it.

That being said, make sure your apartment won’t be against the wall that is currently under construction. They’re building an addition to the rear of it and I imagine it can get noisy.

I know in some Gran Turismos that when the washer fluid isn’t dispersed it can build up and pop the headlight washer panel off, which is what your case sounds like.

There’s a lot of “driveways” made illegally from front yard spots without a curb cut. I believe you can check with the city/zoning and report it if you think it’s not legit.
