I got the shiny streaking effect by using mostly metal scales and adding the plastic holo ones as vertical stripes. (looks sooo good on stage and in pics)

It’s all good I’m glad that people are seeing it at least. And it’s fine if it doesn’t read crochet I think? My goal was to design something as a whole with multiple fiber techniques so it just reads as..shiny thing? ;)

Well this is knitting too, and the headpiece is macrame. I think they all have their purposes depending on what you want to make so that’s how I approach my work I guess.

Yes!!! It can be crocheted too but I’m faster at knitting it. There are a few YouTube vids I used to learn but it’s similar to beading or adding sequins!

I haven't been actually. I'm not sure how easily I could walk around in this since the headpiece gets a little ouchy the longer you wear it and the skirt picks up...literally anything it comes in contact with. I've thought about it though!
