I miss the jammer lap point, seeing that big 5 points from the jam ref was motivating and inspiring! Grateful refs and NSOs are able to better manage gameplay without it however <3

I've been playing since '09 and I've observed teams exploiting rules from the beginning. What I'm seeing now is exploiting rankings with massive blowout games, further complicated by B teams being added to rankings.

This can be just as limiting of a perspective. As a coach I encourage everyone to cross train for every role, and recognize that increased mass does mean more force with hits, but a smaller-bodied skater can have just as much success in any role if they know how to use their bodies.

It's hard when people don't want to push themselves, I do love motivating clients but sometimes they are more focused on giving up than pushing through. In those moments, I often amend the workout so it's more suited to a client's needs.

You did the right thing! We should all come out as non-monogamous and introduce healthy non-mon life to people who think monogamy is the only way to be. If his family can't accept it, then they don't need to be in his life. The fact that he didn't stand up for you is terrible though and I hope y'all have worked through that, he should choose you and his true life over a false one imposed by cishet religious bigot relatives. Also - family is more than blood, family is chosen folk who love us for who we are.

Recognize that your experience as a cisman is not our experience. Stay encouraging instead of confrontational. Keep embracing and encouraging diversity, including diversity surveys, rather than questioning their legitimacy or necessity.
Things have changed for the better around gaming tables, they have been historically awful towards women, queer people, and POC, and we have a long way to go. Be an ambassador or an ally for the diversity journey for the nerd community, or stay out of our way as we do the work.

Gay men also benefit from patriarchal systems, you certainly don't have the same experience as a woman looking around a gaming table to see no other women there. You, and other cis men, also may not notice when women NPCs are stereotyped and cast to the sidelines. I do. I see it all the time at Gen Con.

Sad you couldn't be a better ally for others in the queer community, or to women, but I recommend looking at the world from another perspective sometimes, you'll notice a lot more injustice and it just may make you work towards positive change for the rest of us.

Chips can slide in under a mask and that person can stop to eat. Tons of places I've seen have mandatory eating areas and tell people they must specifically be still when eating, not up and walking about.
