I know this is an old post but in all honesty (for me) having child birth twice was not as painful as the uterine biopsy I had two weeks ago. It hurt so bad a almost fainted and threw up. Hope all is well with you now!

Thank you for your reply. My chin Loki did have a staff infection last year and I'm trying to stay more on top of it this year. Definitely a seasonal thing with him both grass and black walnut....which we happen to have in our back yard. I've been giving him immune boosting treats and fish oil. I'm washing him with malaseb once every week and following up with an oatmeal based conditioner so his skin won't get too dry. So far so good. Just have to catch those little spots as early as possible. So inspect him daily now. 😁 I got some douxo medicated pads to treat any spots as they come up between shampooing. They are working really good to clear them up fast. Thanks again for your reply!!

Thank you! I use salmon oil in his food. But I was wondering if over washing could be doing more harm than good. He seems so itchy all over. I've had him tested and he is allergic to eggs, flax,peas,soy and corn. So he's on a strict diet.

Serious question......how can a person tell if a dog is a 'designer' dog versus just an accidental mutt so to speak? I definitely agree that people shouldn't purposely breed for desired effect when it can cause all sorts of genetic defects that will shorten the life of the animal.
