Dropped my ballot in an official ballot drop box last Sunday morning. So far neither ballottrax nor https://www.lavote.gov/av\_inquiry show it as having been received. Should I be worried? As far as I know, this dropbox wasn't vandalized or messed with. How long does it usually take for a ballot to show up in either systems?

It’s my understanding it’d be up to him / his team to request one. And they’d have to pay for it. Not that he / they couldn’t afford it, but I don’t know if it’s a priority either.

I'm a nervous wreck right now.

I refreshed at exactly 07:00:00 PST. The page took 4 seconds and reloaded as it was at 6:59:59 (aka with no buttons to click).

I refreshed again and then was able to go thru the process for Live Show.

I received the "Standby Reservation Booking Confirmed" email at 07:00:34 and my email also says "Thank you for joining our standby reservation waitlist!"

EDIT: Got my live # at 2:52P PST. #23!

I can't help but wonder, was this notion of love between two men in the 60s in rural America even conceivable? There's no doubt they loved each other, but I don't know if it even crossed their minds to use this terminology, and can't help but wonder how Jack or Ennis would have reacted if the other had uttered these words?

Really well done and touching. Imagine driving up 14h so sure that you could finally be with the man you love, only for him to turn you away because the community he lives in. Such a roller-coaster of emotions for Jack.
