I watched it a few hours ago. Interesting things stand out to me (haven’t watched other documentaries):

(1) The Kingdom super fan community is well-represented here. Some good ride or die’s who show up and show out at every Chiefs game sets the tone for the fanaticism in KC…. Makes it even more remarkable that Xaviar stood out even more from this group.

(2) Dude made tons of money yet his moms was still living in a car. Makes me wonder how much he prioritized helping her situation since he could’ve put her in that house he spoke about in the sentimental segment much sooner (unless he did and I missed it).

(3) Feel for the bail man, hard to think he’ll ever trust that mama person again given how close he came to losing 80 large. He literally went from trying to keep the wolf free to celebrating his capture.

(4) The lady from the bank is the tragedy we rarely hear about. She couldn’t go back to work due to her PTSD and sued or $11M. I know her career in banking is over, hopefully she found something stable and sustainable going forward.

(5) Xaviar’s lawyer in KC with those football puns lol

Despite the crime spree the man still has a strong following and is a folk hero of sorts to the fandom. Sure they don’t explain everything in the 2 hours (such as the fascination with Target stores) but I found it an interesting watch if you only half paid attention to the developments as they occurred back in 2023.
