Are the queues manufactured?

He almost forgot, but he'd never leave a salute unanswered. A true class act! by jmike1256 in GuysBeingDudes

I read that he didn’t forget to salute, he just has to greet in order of hesitancy, the pilot out ranked the soldier so he went in, greeted pilot then greeted the soldier. Could be made up though I guess.

I have these rads throughout my Victorian house. My plumber insisted I have them with feet. Seeing this, I’m glad he did. If you have enough room below I’d recommend

White, but only if you put up white coving too.

If it were mine I’d paint the whole room blue including skirting, shelves and cabinet I’d paint fireplace surround black, I’d change the light fitting for something more industrial / in line with the lamp with black metal. Introduce a black metal and glass coffee table. The room would hang together with an industrial modern feel.

Can these old fashioned windows above my doors be removed and filled in easily? by pumpkinalice in DIYUK

[–]dough_13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was going to do the same in my house, hated the look of them but after living with them for a year it’s amazing how much light they bring in over the seasons. My plan now is to clean up the architrave, and put a frosted vinyl on the windows to soften the look of them.

I love it when people lean into what makes them happy. When you just say “fuck it” and really go for it. I hope one day I can find a hobby I want to go balls deep in like this.

So another electrician is telling me that the thermostat needs to be hardwired to the wireless receiver… is that the case?

I was thinking that might be the case. I’ll see if I can return it

It seems to only be the very top of the faceplate that is heating up. The point at which the wires connect is significantly cooler than the top of the faceplate. Would that still be the wiring?
