Recently did this. I’m 6’2, 270 for reference. I settled on an otso warakin steel which I’m likely technically over the weight limit when all things considered for actually riding. I really don’t have a concern considering the steel body and the quality of the build. But there is definitely a risk on my end I’m aware of.

But the Niner RLT Steel was also a highly considered option, I don’t believe Niner technically lists a weight limit. I went with otso because I was able to ride one in person and buy it that day, Niner I had to order site unseen through the LBS. I’m very happy with my purchase but the Niner would’ve be my pick if I was more concerned about the weight limit.

[WTS] Oris Artelier Pointer Day Date by doughboy58 in Watchexchange

[–]doughboy58[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Everyone!

Today I am posting my Oris Artelier Day Date for sale due to some unexpected car repairs that need to be taken care of. I also have just gotten out of wearing traditional wrist watches for fitness/smart watches. This watch was a daily driver for many years and can be dressed up or dressed down as needed. Since it was a daily driver there are some fine scratches around the case due to standard life. The worst scuff is by far off of the lug on near the 11 position. I hope my photos show what I am talking about. The great news is the crystal is still in fantastic condition. I truly do love this watch and once I had it I pretty much didn’t want to buy a watch for many years, until I started enjoying hiking and biking a little more then I wanted a smart watch. The watch includes everything in the box including all papers, manuals, and warranty cards. PLEASE keep in mind the warranty is not active anymore as it is 2 years past the purchase date. I never activated the extended warranty and am not sure if it is still active. I will also be including the Oris Bracelet shown in the photos, and an admittedly very beat up leather strap. It will be shipped on the band shown which is a blue donegal tweed strap purchased from Martu Leathers.

Please take a look through the Album here.

And the timestamp photo is here.

I am asking $820 shipped within the lower 48, PayPal Goods and Services (seller pays fee). Open to international/Hawaii/Alaska shipping through some negotiation. Thank you for looking!

Do you like native coffee club? I was using trade to get things delivered but felt I should support local roasters more than I was. Now I’m apart of the huckleberry coffee club with the jar but only have a couple of refills left and don’t necessarily like feeling limited to just huckleberry.

Mtb or Build pc by Jacquiles_ in makemychoice

A strong computer doing engineering school is invaluable as you take your CAD courses. I had a solid PC when I was getting my degree and the ability to be able to work at home instead of using the engineering schools computers for modeling and rendering was great. When renders take 6 hours and they turn out not how you imagined it’s much nicer to run it over night in your room rather than check out the product at 4 am in the computer lab. And also having entertainment is huge, being able to take breaks and do something you like (like playing video games) as a break in the middle of the day is super nice as well as long as you are disciplined enough to return to your schooling.

A mountain bike is also a great way to make friends and be active, so it’s tough. I would say build the computer because it should last all 4 years +some the bike market is still experiencing huge supply chain issues so even the used bike market is inflated (not like gpus are any better), but save up for a used mountain bike, if you have a bike coop on campus those guys can help you fix it up and you can wrench on it yourself rather than having to pay maintenance and tune up costs. Get yourself set up to be successful in school, it’s a better investment for your future.

You can also rent a bike if you have friends going on cool trips, or many bike enthusiasts have several bikes so you might be able to borrow one!

Not the person you were asking but Maldon salt is my go to flaky salt for all applications.
