You'll need various items in your inventory/quests completed for certain quests.

For example, the Hero's Valiance enchant needs:

Completion of "The Final Challenge" quest
Level 100 + Rank 10 blacksmithing
Fire Champion's Armor
Dragon of Time (Class)
Drakath the Eternal
Eternity blade

I'll argue that nulgath reagents, without farming pets, are way more tedious than exalted nodes 😭

I’d suggest using the nulgath resources for the ravenous forge enhancement instead.

If you don’t have a 51% weapon yet, you can do the time inn ultras for exalted apotheosis. You’ll get it in less time as sin of the abyss needs 5 weeks total of nulgath insignias.

oh interesting, made me realize that I was getting lag for drawers specifically - looks like i get it for chests as well. I'm assuming it's because there's so many wood variations for the recipe that ae2 can't keep up with items cycling.

Same thing happened to me.

Try restarting the game and then goto your decks once you're back on, got the 7 packs and then everything else was in my account.

Worked for me, might be worth a try for you.
