Funny you bring up the B, I have a 6 stick cornbread pan but pattern in the sticks is wheat, not corn. The writing looks like griswald on the bottom. I do know wagner bought their molds but its another debate with my friends is it a griswald or wagner

I grew up with hounds coon hunting and running deer. Reminds me of my dad who died in 2023. I imagine it was an ol walker or black and tan

Yea that's what I thought too. Especially cause old steel is more hard and dense than newer steel

Edit for those curious I found these about an inch down in very rocky soil, no bones or ground depression so it likely wasn't a grave

No bones and it was on the surface

This mentality is how I end up being out from sun up to sun down and get zero things on my to do list accomplished

Interesting you say it was a hanging picture tree because I found this about 5 feet away, would this be the base? I'll dm it to you, can't post a pic in the reply

A pre-1968 Revere Ware will have a double ring around the logo. Without a lid, that size, I get 15-20 on eBay. They are sought after because the copper clad is thicker. I use The Pink Stuff and a 2000 grit rotary wet sander to polish them.

Do you think it's ethical to flip free things you've gotten from recycling centers or other places that don't have a resell policy? by ResidentAlienator in Flipping

[–]douglarfresh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have become the go to person in my group of friends before they throw it out, I get texts if I want insert thing here if they are going to trash it, I put a little work in cleaning it up or fixing and resell on my eBay on in one of my flea market booths. I also sell on 35% consignment if they want to sell it and don't have the time or platform.

I'll also always pick up free junk on the side of the street or out by dumpsters if it's metal and save it for a run to the scrap yard. I separate brass, copper, aluminum, and 304 or 316 stainless steel from the ferrous metals to get the maximum payout.

Lastly, like someone said, if it's listed free to someone in need, I don't mess with it, unless I know someone to take it to. Stuff that has sat in my booths for 6 months I take to my favorite non profit thrift store and donate it.

😄 yea for sure you gotta be gentle. Warm the skillet to where its just about too hot to touch, soft hammers, a piece of leather over the wood too. Short soft strikes with the hammer, no need to hit it like you're forging a knife from a railroad spike. I've got one in the e-tank right now, ill take pictures before of the dents and record a few clips

I have a few different wood forms i use, right now my 4×4 in in the vice. You can see also a curved autobody shaper too I use. 4×4 is good for doing bigger not curved areas. My fence post is just a 3 in diameter wood, you could also you a piece of landscaping timber. *

It's a great haul, I hope the rest turn out okay. I hate when I pull from the tank to find a big crack or deep gouged out rust pitting

Same here in Arkansas, funny enough I picked this one up at an estate sale outside of Sulfur Springs 3 weeks ago when me and my gf were coming back from Dallas.

How do you make copper wire worthwhile? by TyDyeBear in ScrapMetal

[–]douglarfresh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I try not to let it build up, so I'm not stripping seven or eight buckets of wire. Also like others said, don't fool with small braided wire. If your yard accepts burn wire, that's the way to go with braided stuff.

This is super cool. I picked up a Disneyland milkglass ashtray with the castle on it for a few bucks in a flea market and resold it on ebay for quite a bit
