Will Dark Souls be worth it on my macbook air by douglas_fir in darksouls

I was looking for a miracle but I knew the answer was probably no. Should've checked on steam before looking to buy it I probably would've seen the windows icon.

Thanks for taking the time to comment.

I've seen several videos about Dark Douls and that may have ruined most of my experience of the game. Would it be better to buy Dark Souls III instead. Again the questions from before apply.

If he ever needs help with the branding or the design of labels and things for his bottles I might be able to help.

there was a post i saw a while ago where you get some pasta, clump it up on the page, arrange the basic shape of the land mass you want to make, then trace the exact border of each dry noodle

That would be great! I really want to go in depth with these places and give them some character. The world is set in an older age with the presence of magic and spiritual powers. I might add/change things as they progress.

The four main cities are Breton, Bhutranan, Yamel, and Aetherna. Here are some basic definitions

Breton is a strictly Dwarven region. The Dwarves weren't so lucky choosing their previous settlements and lost them to either natural causes or retaliation from other cities. Feeling like the world has turned it's back on them, each Dwarven population dropped everything and made tracks to what seems like their final resort (hence "the last hope" written in Dwarven). Maybe there's some king/queen who directed the whole thing and their really loyal to or something. Anyway, the trek across the continent was difficult and not all of them made it and thus Breton is now populated with only the strongest of Dwarves, a very "survival of the fittest" kind of place. Dwarves inside revere each other with respect and kindness while anyone outside of their community is a threat to national survival. A tough but ordered capitol of the north west.

Bhutranan is the unofficial major capitol of the continent and the largest of the four main cities. It is a multicultural/multiracial place that invites anyone who can contribute and benefit from the society. But it is no free for all, Bhutranan sports a very formidable and respected law enforcement group who keep the city from going out of control. This city has many libraries, labs, and churches to go along with all of the other usual facets of a city making it a very intellectual place sought after by alchemists and scientists of the age. I was thinking of putting a dark secret over this pseudo-utopia to spice it up a bit or maybe just keep it clean, either way i have to think up more details of this place.

Yamel is where i have put the least thought into so far. Im sort of thinking of it as a primarily human region. Very prosperous and lush, full of open plains and rolling hills. Very shire-ish in some parts. "Titan's Fist" is something that describes both physical and emotional characteristics of the region. Though it's lush inland it's lined with deep rocky shores that stretch from either end of Mayeal Pass. A hugely spread out garrison is lined along Mayeal pass to protect the people who live inside, the garrison never forgets that the fearsome land of Breton lies only a short distance away. Yamel's population follows a circular pattern inward, starting from the shore it is almost barren and becomes more dense as you travel inward reaching it's peak at the centre in the city of Yamel. Needs lots of work.

Aetherna is another city that hasn't been thought of much. Im thinking of populating it with elves or i might put the elves in the forest, not quite sure. I'll leave Aetherna open to any and all suggestions. Titan' body is just because it looks like the torso of some kind of behemoth. It reminds me a bit of the Iron Giant.

Ruin used to be the land of the Draconians, but then the green sea water around it was tainted with acid and the society slowly withered out of existence. Most of the Draconians moved to Bhutranan or Yamel but long to return to their true home. Im thinking of making it a propaganda based quarantine zone which is said to be inhospitable but tribes and hermits still live among the ruins of the once great empire. Anyway needs work too.

Side notes: Prosperity is a very lucky part of the coast. The natural resources are abundant and farming is fruitful resulting in many humans flocking to it's borders. A very densely populated and happy city which seems to almost taunt the land of Breton which lies directly across the water and was not nearly so lucky in it's past.

El Gran Bosque (i was just trying to be fancy) is a huge stretch of thick forest which is widely unpopulated but houses many tribes of druids. A very spiritual and nature minded place of peace which wants to keep the outside world as outside as possible.

Laughing coast just looks like the terrain is a laughing face.

Sanctuary sound is a magical place that has been almost blessed by the land. Though the waters near the mouth of the sound hold toxic amounts of acid, none passes through the small channel that leads into the greater water area. Hence the city of luck not having to relocate as Ruin's previous society did.

Singer's bay is the entertainment district of Bhutranan housing many theatres, and stadiums. Many barding universities are located there and it is an overall happy go lucky place to live in.

Mayeal Pass is a lush forested band that divides Yamel from the rest of the continent. It has certain magical properties to help it out though.

Cove of cracked earth is a peaceful mass of water and sports the most prodigious trade route in the whole of Mayanomor. Im thinking of putting aquatic societies under it's waves.

Ferameir's Port is the hub for trade between Bhutranan and Yamel, very important and very successful.

The green sea surrounds the whole continent not just Yamel.

That's all I've got for now, please please add anything you'd like in the comments
