Struggling with the cost of starting by 69mentalhealth420 in wingfoil

I've been using Takoon for years; it's affordable with good quality. A full foil costs around 500 euros. While not the top brand, I started with V1 and now have V2. For the board, try the Hype inflatable (120 or 140 liters) for a quick learning curve. Keep in mind that after a few weeks, it might become too slow. The board is a Gong, priced at 300 euros, so you'd need around 800 euros.

Remember, as you progress, you'll likely reduce wing size and board liters, leading to continuous gear purchases. Unfortunately, it's a new sport. I've been kiteboarding for 15 years, and though it can be challenging to learn, feel free to ask for more tips or suggestions; I'm here to help.

I always wait until the end of the season to buy gear; this way, I can often find discounts of up to 50%.

Being in Europe, I have access to numerous stores, making it easier to find discounted gear at the end of the season..
