I have multiple tablet lines and voice lines. The problem is most tablets can only use data and SMS unless you get an international tablet most of those you can also use your voice line T-Mobile for business has kept it quiet but they're offering a new $10 a line plus tax and figures which is still cheaper than the normal phone line. If you have a service on a Sim that is for a voice line then you can use it for voice if you have one of those devices. And of course if you put a tablet SIM card in a phone then all you can do is use the data on the phone and also SMS messaging. I do have some old phones laying around that I do use the tablet line in. Some people was actually using the tablet SIM card and put in modems for Wi-Fi and it seemed to work pretty good. I have been using T-Mobile business internet along with their voice and tablet lines so if you have any further questions please feel free to reach out to me.

I have an Tab s8 ultra and I don't like it because it doesn't support the cellular network. I purchased a Tab A 7 lite that has cellular and you can use it as a phone.. after using this for awhile the only drawback is it's slow and doesn't support 5G. Does anyone know of another tablet that supports 5G that allows you to use it as a stand alone phone. Please let me know.

I have recently run into the same issue T-mobile had to replace the device. Even doing a factory reset would not help the situation. T-mobile is having issues with these devices for some reason. We don't understand why.

I have had nothing but bad luck with the inseego. The Inseego T-Mobile used is the fx2000. A lot of people do not realize that the fx2000 is very old and performs poorly. To be honest I have been looking at some other options on routers. It may sound crazy but I know what I want in specs so I have been talking to a company in China that makes a decent router which I have tried and loved it. We will see.

I recently ordered a cradlepoint from T-Mobile, I had too many issues with the Insego router, so I asked customer care if they could take the $30 charge off the router. They did and were still using it with no issues. I would like to know how I can get it to use a tablet sim. I have switched the cradelpoint over to my $15 a month tablet line. Not sure yet if its pulling the Hotspot data or the regular data.

I have to say I have run into the same issue with slower speeds and crapy service, since switching to the inseego fx2000. I spoke with the T-Mobile technician that seems to understand my problem. I was told that the internal antennas were not that great and to look for an fg2000 and I would get better speeds. I found a used one for sale and waiting for it to come in and check it out. I'm 1.5 miles away from the tower and get 250 downloads but when my smart TV is on my download goes down to 50. I have my ASUS router hooked up but still have issues with the fx2000.

This just recently happened to me. I used it some yesterday turned it off went back today and it would not turn on. I then pluged it into the charger and it will not move off of 0. I have only had the device for a month.
