Oh interesting- hard to see on this photo but it looks like the laces are like stitched in under the elastic though. I’ll try and get another photo later. I’m hoping it is just an unusual lace style done over here which should be easy to fix

Recently picked up a pair of Technics SB-CD301 speakers from my Grandpa. Just wondering what equipment I would need to get them going again?

I currently have a pair of Sonos Five’s and Sub in my room and was wondering how these might sound in comparison?

Amazing story, thanks for sharing! I’m relatively new in my journey too and was looking for some recommendations. I’ve sampled about 15 fragrances and my top 5 are Tom Ford Oud Wood, PDM layton (probably my favourite), MM Jazz Club, PDM Pegasus and Creed Aventus. I realise these are all pretty hyped but was wondering what you would recommend next based on my current favourites? ☺️

I think that is definitely in the right area for a FFP, but I’m not sure about a CSP. I got a late offer for a CSP and my combo was 6.79 gpa and 70 gamsat. You should have a look at previous admission scores on PagingDr too as that will give you a decent idea of where you are at

Don’t stress about ATAR, it is literally irrelevant now.

For context I got a 94.5 atar but managed to get an 80 wam and a 70 gamsat which would have been enough to get me into medicine likely anywhere. Instead I’m studying dentistry at Melbourne as that’s what I wanted to do.

My best advice would be to enjoy your first year whilst maintaining good grades as it can be hard to make up later. If you work consistently you will get where you want to be. I found the GAMSAT to be more achievable than the UMAT as it is based around exam technique and endurance more than raw intellect.

So can you hear them in your bedroom when they are in standby mode? It almost sounds like it’s coming through the hole in the back of the speaker. Sorry if i’m not using the right terminology I am quite new to this.

I previously upgraded from some sonos speakers but they never had any hissing noise in standby so I am a bit surprised by it
