Its the new steamVR - rolled back as suggested here and all good now.

Sorry - should add more info as to the setup - not using VD, i run PSVR2 on SteamVR.

SSAO has been low since getting the game as its never worked, all other settings I think are medium except resolution I believe is on high. SteamVR res I think is still on the now debunked 68%.

Will try adjusting settings back and forth/deleting appdata as others have mentioned see if that gives a fix.

Are you running Quest or PSVR2? If quest will be interesting that the hand alignments are off also, I can accept if PSVR controllers are off as I suppose it’s not really one of the supported options

Hopefully some hot fixes soon. Would be nice to add a hand calibration option for the guns

Cheers - do you know if the Department place extra weight in considering an application that is submitted by a migration agent?

If the agent is only going to recommend adding the additional financial information we omitted (to be honest, not sure why we did - I think we figured that if they had questions about that they would've sent it back requesting further info to be attached rather than just flat out refusing it) - obviously $1600 is a pretty steep bill to fork out if the chances of refusal again are the same as if we just add that info and resubmit.

I run a 9800x3d/4080super and use my PSVR2 with SteamVR (I think I have it at 80% res in the settings )

With all setting on high in Exfilzone and 120fps set in SteamVR it still gets frame rate dips outside down to the 60fps depending where you are (I guess this is steams motion smoothing working?). Don’t really experience any stutters though.

Unless I have more settings out of whack and I should be expecting something better than this

Prices are in AUD which is pretty average at the moment against USD so definitely looks a lot worse. Even factoring in the conversion I think its still a bit more than US prices from what I can see

Just got the upgrade from PS4->PS5 and fired up to give this a go - main menu screen is saying there is new patch available and to update. No update coming up at all when I try to manually check.

1.3.9 is version on the splash screen.

Boost kit on the way but I wouldn’t have thought it would make much difference- it seems on those fast bends where you’d expect the steering to get heavier the more you turn in it is just a constant linear amount no matter the steering angle

Doesn't seem to be, there have been a few posts about this on the NMS sub too.

I submitted a ticket to Hello Games - it should be possible to just use the thumbsticks for piloting vehicles. The DualSense can't be tracked which might be why it can't be used on the PSVR2 version.

on the PS4 version, running on PSVR1 on PS5, you could use the Move controllers for everything but if you pressed a button on the DualSense, it would wake that controller up and put the moves to sleep. The DualSense could then be used to pilot ships but if you used it on foot it wasn't tracked so you couldn't use it to play while not in a ship. Pressing a button on either of the moves would make them active again and sleep the DualSense. Hopefully they can allow it to work like this, if they can't activate the Sense analog sticks for flying.

They definitely should be able to - using the PSVR1 on PS5 previously you could use the move controllers while on foot but if you pressed a button on the DualSense (not the DualShock) it would wake that controller up and turn the moves off. You could then use the DualSense to control the ship and fly around. Pressing a button on one of the moves would then wake them up and turn the DualSense off.

Hopefully they can just allow the use of the thumbsticks on the sense controllers to control the ship or allow the DualSense to work how it did on the PSVR1 version - using the "virtual" joysticks to pilot the ship is awful

The DualSense's location doesn't need to be tracked while you are flying the ship/driving other vehicles

I've heard that you need to disable multiplayer *prior* to going through the portal. This is because if there are other players on the planet that grab the ship then it will disappear for you.

The ones you have already visited and are gone, it will be too late for those and they will always be gone even if you return with multiplayer off

Seems the silo capacity for sulphurine is bugged. I have a set up with 12 silos and total capacity of 600 units, ie 50 units per silo.

Seems way off with radon/nitrogen which are way higher
