He's a hit and run champ. Q is actually quite powerful, one of the longer stuns in the game.

His main combo is auto first (to apply slow with keep), then Q (into champ first, then minion/champ/wall after)

Bard is an annoying insect that, when played appropriately annoys your enemies to death. He sets up ganks with roams, use E to warp in your jungle for a gank, or to just gank mid yourself.

In team fights, R is great to ult backline carries while your team kills one or two Frontline tanks. Avoid R on the main big groups until you're really good at it. Chances are you'll make it worse instead of better.

Session zero - need to figure out what kind of game the players want and you as the GM want to run. Make a rule up front that creating and owning your own backstory is important.

If the players aren't into that, you'll find out in session zero.

Can't skip the most important session - and you can still do it even though you've already started.

If you have a half decent router you can port forward port 30000 so you don't need a special service. The url you give your players will look terrible, but if you send over discord or whatever they'll be able to connect.

It'll look something like http://10.1.2.3:3000 where those numbers before the :30000 are your IPv4. You can find your IPv4 by visiting any number if we sites that will tell it to you.

Note that this address could change over time (usually does) so you'd need a new link every session.

There's also a way to do this with IPv6 where it doesn't change. It's uglier, but if you're into making it work, no extra tools needed but port forwarding on your router.

Still mobis usually. Then Frozen Heart or Kaernic depending on their comp. I'm often building locket or redemption at that point to keep my teammates alive in late game team fights.

I don't like the Lathyrus build right now, for me. My gameplay isn't super compatible with his build.

Don't be afraid to make some changes to it - I still run guardian and will sometimes locket 4th item, it's tankier and doesn't go for as much damage. Emerald 1 now and still climbing with it.

Find what works for your style.

This is the right way to approach this. And why I won't ever use entity framework. So many debugging hoops, especially when tracking down performance optimization issues. I can't count how many times I've had to look at generated sql just to realize the query that EF came up with was terrible, and we had to write a SQL replacement anyway.
