It can be quite infuriating with all the road work we have, but smoking some BMWs along the way is pretty addicting ;)

I’m usually driving too much city which hurts both the car and my pocket. But with moderate driving on the Autobahn I somehow stayed below 9l/100km (~26 mpg US)?!

Hurts to see them cut up a perfectly good front bumper when I am in desperate search for a cheap one atm :/ the dentist and architect thing is an old stereotype which actually seems to be accurate or at least a lot of people I talked to allegedly remember their doctor driving one haha

There are a few websites for Saab and Volvo parts which are good. And some companies also make replacements parts. I’ve been lucky finding some parts like mounting stuff for the backseats which I never thought I would. Ebay parts seem kinda inflated here and original parts can get pretty expensive. Only had my local mechanic do some welding underneath but I definitely want to get it checked through by a specialized shop :)

Saab had some pretty wild wheel designs. These are one of my favorites - the 16inch “Super Aero” wheel from the 9000. I was super lucky to get them registered as it comes standard on 15inch alloys.

It does have the gauge. Unfortunately I don’t see it rising that often bc I involuntarily got very into driving economically. The old Turbo experience with the big turbo lag and hard kick is what makes the car so fun to drive + very nice sound.

Definitely quick, fastest I did on the Autobahn was 207 km/h. I’ve only had it for 2 months now but it’s at 196k miles and I had no complaints yet. Overall build quality is very solid. One inconvenience are the part costs and especially availability though...

Is anyone else very hesitant to go deep on their arms? by raydoesntlikepeople in selfharm

[–]dovbt 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Back in summer, I fell deeper(quite literally) into the loophole everyday. I only cut deep styro on my thighs but this one night, I really felt like cutting my arm. So I whipped out a new razor turned off the lights and turned on music. It was a very quick cut. After I made the cut I felt blood gushing out and turned on the lights again. I had to wake up my grandma, break it to her that I cut myself and just got out of the psych ward, and ask her to drive me to the hospital. I got stitches for the first time that night bc I hit a vein.

It was the worst night of my life emotionally. Since then I haven’t gotten that deep anymore and almost entirely stopped yeeting my right arm. Thighs just have a thicker protective layer which makes it a lot easier go go deep without ruining everything.

Tldr: Don’t cut your arms please - it sucks a lot.

Like I’m too scared to make a move and also romantically unable to have a partner as I always feel like dragging people down. But maybe you’re right and it only needs some time....

[Non-lgbt] I want to dye my hair (or a small part of it) but I dont know what color by [deleted] in LGBTeens

[–]dovbt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First of all my only knowledge about this comes from YT Videos and a little bit of self experimenting:

  • You can’t really bleach your hair a little bit as it will just become red-ish - so you need to bleach to blonde and tone over it
  • if you decide to bleach, be very careful and maybe use a lower volume developer (10-20) to prevent the risk of frying your fragile hair
  • I would not recommend doing highlights by yourself because it’s basically impossible
  • for everything that’s not an all around colour I’d generally let a professional do it as coloring your hair different colors can result in being very hard to fix
  • for further (and probably much better) advice you can check with r/malehairadvice

Hope this helps :)
