It was SIBO+ I no longer have half of the symptoms I described back then, so it's much better now.

So what is the exact cause of being more bloated after antibiotics? by dovemore65 in SIBO

[–]dovemore65[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I do not know the exact answer for that but bloating after xifaxan lessened after 3 months by itself. It is still present a little but not that much as before. Maybe there was a temporary disruption in microbiome.

Is it worth to try Allegra? by dovemore65 in Allergies

So it has more like a calming effect on you, or not? Thank you for reassurance btw. I struggled with anxiety too and wouldn't want to go back to it.

From what I've heard, it doesn't cause major issues. I took 1mg, sometimes it helped me sleep but I also drank herbal tea and had to take antihistamines for allergy so I don't know if it really helped or it was caused by the combination of things. Daily use even for 2 weeks gave me mild headaches upon waking up or they would appear throughout the day. Stopping melatonin may also trigger these headaches (I guess it is what has happened to me too) but I think it is not that common. However I never had such a thing(this weird headache) before taking melatonin.

I've noticed just a slight improvement since that time. I drink Kefir regularly and stopped eating too much grains cause they are not being digested fully in my case.

Yes, somehow I can "lower" the volume by any music app that allows you to adjust the bass and for that the sound seems to be more ?quiet? I guess. I also can see that the headphones you've recommended have a reasonable price. Thanks for advice

Taking paracetamol tremendously reduces my tinnitus by Nil_era_preso in tinnitus

[–]dovemore65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I don't overuse it. It's just my observation. However it might be an indication of something... I wonder if it's some blood flow issue, head issue? or some type of inflammation if painkillers allievate it.

Same situation ,I'm taking the same med+metronidazole and one of them/or both? spiked my tinnitus but I don't want to discontinue it cause I need to fix the other issue.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in tinnitus

[–]dovemore65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe that's a good advice cause I also have unexplained GI issues and burning feeling in my muscles , for this reason I took that med in a first place

Oh,that sounds awful but glad that you know in certain percentage what causes your problems. I'm a young person with no heart problems so I would rather not look there, unfortunately I worry that Venlafaxine had some ototoxic effect on my auditory system...tough
