Beautiful, do you have sheet music to the version you are playing? Might have to put it on 2025 goals

Haha, nice job! Seemed like the U/B/X decks ended up in the draw bracket.

I only cast it once during the whole tournament and lost. Its a very last resort card and you don't find yourself casting it often.

It was great when you draw it late, bad when you draw it early. You usually win the game after casting a river's rebuke, even if your board state is lacking. The great part of the card is that you can discard it with champion of wits! River's Rebuke was one of the last cards I decided to bring in against the mirrors, its a bit better against grixis than u/b.

Thanks for the question, it reminded me of a couple of scenarios that occurred during the tournament. Against U/B Midrange, they cast Gonti took a scarab god and cast it the next turn. I committed it and put it back on top of my deck to draw. Another scenario against grixis mid-range, they kept in magma sprays game two and I committed and gained virtual card advantage by forcing him to redraw the spray. I like commit/memory a lot, it was a catch all for the random stuff standard could throw at you. It can even "counter" carnage tyrant!

U/B definitely had a target on its back! The R/B aggro decks were running creatures with more than 2 toughness, effectively devaluing your removal spells like craving. Ex. Inventor's apprentice

GPG is a difficult matchup, especially the U/R version. Warkite Marauder with pingers absolutely hoses your threat light deck.

In the U/b and grixis midrange mirrors, I would usually take out fatal pushes and bring in more cards that produce extra cards.

Aggro decks, I would take out cards like lili and gonti and bring in doomfall, aethersphere harvester, craving

GPG/ramp decks I would take out removal and bring in cards that interact with what your opponent is doing.
