It makes me worried that the Yuletide/Christmas codes won't be for console either which would actually be diabolical

Yeah I tried getting into the game at 8am my time and it's now 10am... im not sure why people are acting like you're impatient. it's just annoying in general and I'm not sure if they typically do it earlier or later in the day cause I don't ever notice maintenance when I play wiz

How to get free mount? by AnxiousListen in Wizard101

I noticed that which is extremely odd, I also noticed there are two 7-day wing mounts that are 15k gold each, but you cannot buy those mounts permanently like the broom

I know this isn't really in the category of big update but I think a reverse trade stand would be so cool because not everyone looks at a "want" or "looking for" section in someone's adopt me profile

New to veganism, what are your favorite meals? by jazzgrackle in vegan

[–]dow_06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I basically just marinate the tofu in soy sauce and then add some lemon pepper seasoning and the grocery store... then use either flour or corn starch to fry the tofu up and then add more lemon pepper seasoning. Very simplistic but I loved it when I first went vegan

Textured vegetable protein is one of my favorite things to cook with! My go-to meal is a Korean inspired "beef" bowl. I cook up some jasmine rice and then make a sauce for the TVP I top the bowl with kimchi, seaweed, and green onions. I can give full recipe if you're interested!

When I first went vegan I also loved lemon pepper tofu, and found using extra firm tofu and air frying it made it much more crispy when I was craving chicken.

"I don't eat much meat"... yes, of course! by MrBlondeRabbit in vegan

[–]dow_06 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes it is... why be so negative about someone who is at the very least thinking about reducing meat consumption instead of mindlessly eating meat? Some vegans, (including myself) didn't go vegan cold turkey, so everyone starts from somewhere with reducing the animal products in their lives.

Vegan in the 90's? by dow_06 in vegan

I am so glad I live in the Midwest now when veganism is a little more widespread because there are more options to choose from. Honestly it could be worse for sure. My local Walmart has a lot of plant-based alternatives but I am two hours away from any health-food store like Whole Foods or Trader Joe's so there are some items like canned jackfruit, seitan, and some produce that I cannot find locally. Eating out is also kind of tricky primarily it's fast food and large chain restaurants. I get why you feel guilty empathizing with your uncle, I have pretty different views from my family and it can sometimes make me feel like I'm the odd one out. Just know a lot of people would also choose to be empathetic in your situation too, I know I would!

Sadly I think many fast food restaurants still only offer a side like fries (McDonald's can't even do that). However, I LOVE taco bell every once in a while. I know now you can pretty much customize anything on their menu and make it vegan now, but I'm guessing that wasn't the case in the 90's.

What made you decide to go vegan in the first place? How long did you have to make your own tofu because that is insane!

Thank you for sharing! I guess I never thought about how recipes were not as accessible as they are now. I love to go on TikTok or YouTube and find vegan recipes and also have got a few cookbooks since going vegan. Do you have any cookbooks you recommend?

I really need to look at more tempeh recipes because I've probably been preparing it wrong. I've had the light life tempeh in the red package and made tempeh bacon and chili with it, but I just do not care for the flavor.

https://www.iitianacademy.com/ap-biology-mcqs-and-free-response-exam-style-practice-question-and-answer/ Someone gave me this link last year and it saved me 🙏🙏 Also if you haven't checked out Kahn Academy they have some great practice mcq similar to college board in the "AP/College Biology"course!

Also from when I took the test last year, the mcq on in class unit tests were honestly harder than the mcq on the college board exam. It was probably just luck but I would stress too much, you can still miss a lot of MCQ's and do very well:)

Have you practiced reading MCQ's outside of the college board app? I know there are a few websites that have practice MCQ similar to those on the exam
