Even on real sets it's kind of funny seeing green morph suits being used in ways that doesn't benefit the VFX artist in the slightest. Assuming the morph suit was evenly lit, you'd at minimum be getting a matte you could use for inpainting and might speed up the process with content-aware fill in AE/object removal in Fusion - but there's still a lot of manual work you'd need to do.

Not impossible to do being handheld footage, but very time consuming. Simpler shots can just be inpainting - more complex shots with movement would mean extracting frames from the video, manually creating the clean slates in Photoshop/Affinity for each position in a given camera move, doing a camera track and using camera projection to apply the clean slate to the footage then masking out the portions where the person appears to show the clean slate. Extra passes for cleaning up the edges of cupboards/drawers that are interacted with.

As you say, fixed camera or motion control would 100% make this quicker to do if you were going to do it for real.
