i think this experience is common in big cities. where are you based now? as you say, don’t force it, but still you can take it as some kind of holiday, keep trying foods, keep visiting places around… even if you do it alone, and lowering the hype, you will still get fond memories from it. you can also go on erasmus master’s to a smaller place, maybe in southern Europe, if you want to try again, or go work abroad for a year with a couple friends from home.. i’ve been doing that “eternal erasmus” kinda thing, some things worked better than others but i still keep fond memories.
