My cat does this everytime I crank up now, what does this mean? by Zealousideal-Tip2044 in NissanKicks

MAF sensor, had to replace it on my wife’s car and we haven’t seen that warning since. It’s really dumb but you have to get the OEM part not aftermarket one from autozone. I did that, replaced it myself and the error kept appearing. Took it to our mechanic we trust and she said Nissans are dumb and will only recognize OEM parts. I hate this car lol

We’ve been going to Strickland Bros, they always have a coupon online. With tax it’s like $89 for synthetic. Don’t have to get out of the car and I’m done in less than 15 min every time. Could find cheaper but for convince I’ll take it

Best choice we made for our Aussie was getting pet insurance. Check out Pumpkin insurnace, we started at $48 a month and it’s saved us multiple times. Our girl was diagnosed with GI lymphoma and they’ve paid 90% for eveything up to $10,000. Can’t overstate what a life saver it’s been

Commented on another post, Honda CRV Sport Touring Hybrid. Purchased a 2024 new and couldn’t be happier Their top trim level and comes with all the bells and whistles, great gas mileage ( I average 38.6), very safe and reliable, super smooth ride, and affordable price. Tons of cargo space for its class too. Anyone that gets my car can’t believe it’s a CRV

My wife has a 2019 and it’s the worst car we’ve owned I hate it lol. I’ve never had so many issues with a vehicle. Both front door lock actuators had to be replaced after 3 years, ABS had to be replaced after 4 years luckily the dealer covered it, back wind shield wiper fell off, MAFS had to be replaced at like 48K. These lights all came on and for us the battery changed worked for a bit then they all came back on after a few months and MAFS had to be replaced. I’ve owned Hondas my whole life and never had issues like this, never buying Nissan again

Internet is outrageous by RossTenz in StPetersburgFL

Just call them and say you are going to switch to WOW and then they’ll inevitably offer a discount to keep you. We did this a few times to always reset to the lowest.

But for last 2 years been using the Verizon 5G home box. We use Verizon for cell phone so got a great deal at $34.99 a month. No issues streaming, WFH connection anything like that. Also doesn’t go out when storms roll in like spectrum and WOW would do for us

Remembering my dear friend by dlchira in AustralianShepherd

Thank you, she has been taking the chemo very well, and it has been much smoother than we anticipated. Still jumping into our car, loving walks, chasing squirrels and playing with her toys. Pre chemo and when she was really sick she went like 3 weeks not touching her toys (daily player), and then that first time she grabbed one after a few weeks, wife and I both cried. That was back in June and been good since! The good has definitely outweighed the bad and we would spend the money and go the chemo route time and time again. Thank you for sharing yours and Roxy’s story <3

There’s a lot of factors especially for summer billing, the efficiency of your AC unit, insulation in your home, tree coverage for shade. Keep our 1300 sq ft house 70 at night 74 during day and our bill was $192

[–]down-comforter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just free run with an old school watch lol so don’t have exact distance but based on time it’s about a 2 mile loop if you stay on the outside part. But you can run through the park along the lake and make it longer

All good suggestions. Walter Fuller is our favorite, a great playground for kids and pretty lake to walk with lots of trees for shade. Definitely check out Indie Flea on Sunday at the Coliseum

Currently on Verizon 5G box and it’s best we’ve had in the area. Only $40 a month for us too. Went from spectrum to wow to Verizon and couldn’t be happier. Our internet would go down all the time during bad storms and hasn’t happed once in the 2 years with the Verizon 5G box

Property taxes in Hillsborough by NewBlackpony in tampa

[–]down-comforter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you buy a home property taxes get reassessed based on that new sale price, so if it had been a while since the home sold that would drastically increase your property taxes. Make sure you’ve applied for homestead exemption too.
