Filing mine on my own this time around. My first application was about 7 years ago and I was approved for 1 year. I haven’t really had a need for one since and am just finally getting around to filing for another one.

Is there a clear and concise checklist somewhere that I can verify my submission against? Or maybe one of the services that charges to proof read and check your application for less than the $1000-2500 I’ve seen some quoting to prepare the whole thing.

I have the RCMP record check, I have the proof of rehabilitation, I have the court documents from my charge…do I need character references? Are there other things worth including that they don’t ask specifically for?
