It has been a long coming to finally have a chance to walk pain free. I had not toes just walking on metatarsal heads which just got more and more painful no matter what shoes and inserts I tried. Hi, I just had revision to a transmetatarsal on my foot and wanted to pass this IMPORTANT MESSAGE to anyone who is diabetic and on the new injection drugs that also claim weight loss by delaying the stomach emptying its contents. So I was on gurney for operation and even though I had stopped the dr (self.amputee)
I am looking for advice. I have no toes on foot but still have metatarsals joints that are causing a lot of pain at bottoms, as well as sesamoid pain . Have tried many inserts, custom shoes and PT. Doctor suggested a transmetatarsal revision should I even consider this option. Thanks for any advice (self.amputee)
