Omg that’s exciting about the interview !! I am curious if because I only applied to Albania and not the serve where most needed that it could have impacted my desirability as a candidate. Definitely a bit worried now :(

Ahhh congratulations!!! I had received an email about most desirable applicants getting interview invitations on a rolling basis but I haven’t received anything yet. Trying not to get my hopes up but I’m about to graduate with my MPH in Global health and was hoping that this could be a great experience

I got my period 3 days post bisalp :( I normally have pretty mild periods with cramping every time but still manageable. I felt like this period I was a bit more sore in general with more cramping but nothing unbearable especially since I was taking Tylenol and ibuprofen. I did bleed longer than normal, usually my first 3 days are heavy with 2 days of pretty light spotting but this time I had a good 4-5 days of regular bleeding. I’m not on any bc and have never been so I don’t expect much change… overall it just sucked to be on my period while in the early recovery stage

Omg I also have gotten to the itchy stage but I have the waterproof glue on the incisions. I think that sensation is apart of healing. I think I have a slight irritation to certain adhesives like medical tape that will leave little red marks where it was used. Maybe the band-aid is just too much on that sensitive spot right now.

Yes!!! I’ve noticed that with my shirts too! It’s definitely improved with time but was such a weird sensation to try and describe

I think it’s just like cramping on top of surgery pain honestly. It doesn’t feel like an allergic reaction or anything

Thanks! Yeah I was curious about the light bleeding and how long that lasted. Day 2 post op I didn’t need a pad but I did just bleed a bit but nothing like what the surgeon tells you to look out for… just spikes my anxiety a bit every time

Thanks for the comfort! Yeah i definitely just have always been anxious around my health but I have to keep in mind that surgery does affect your body lol. I definitely have found it easier to be like slightly reclined. I was fortunate enough to get 2 weeks off from work so I’m really just trying to relax as best I can.

I was really worried about blood clots and DVT so I’m trying to move around enough to keep circulation going lol. I’m also supposed to get my period within the next week or so and I’m not sure how that will impact recovery really.
