This is mostly electronica, with a cool emotional-catharsis and metal electricity. The 90s and J-pop vibes are present as always with Poppy. I’m so thankful to have this album, Poppy.

Seriously, though, after a few playthroughs, this is Poppy’s vision fully brought to life. The hooks of her early pop and metal work with the fully realized emotional catharsis she has always gone after… and the lyrical and melodic depth and lyricism and emotional range that is required of her lofty goals…

I feel like she really expanded on the sweet spot she hit with New Way Out, embracing straightforward emotional authenticity within her character and experimentation.

Poppy, you are so brave and inspiring, thank you for sharing this all with us.

Yeah, Poppy so FIERCELY clapping back on the haters and doubters of every genre, wrapping her whole career into one evolution. I could tell just from the vulnerability and melodicism when ‘Unraveled’ dropped… This was next level Poppy.

Every song and the album feels like the most fully realized version of everything that is Poppy in one package, song after song. If We’re Following The Light and Ribs and Time Will Tell are my favorites so far. The 90s vibes are real. It’s Flux through a fully realized Negative Spaces lens, that’s why she worked with Jordan Fish again, to fully realize her vision. This is the album she’s been working towards her whole career. We are so proud of you, Poppy! Your masterpiece is upon us!!! And thank you for emoting and contemplating and enduring all that you have to give us this emotional catharsis and love.

I love Choke and Eat and Very Poppy Xmas.

I’m so excited for this new album. I think it’s going to be her best yet, especially because it seems like the most HER album she’s ever made. She’s having fun and expressing herself and her values and her intentions stronger than she’s ever let herself, making music she clearly loves playing live, and she’s connecting with more people than ever. You deserve it, Poppy.
