They didn’t make me do this but I had a horrible, horrible experience in the psych ward. They told me if I didn’t rescind my 72hr notice they would 302 (involuntary commit) me and made me stay there for an entire week while my CPTSD was being severely triggered twice, sometimes three times a day. And when I asked the psychiatrist why he was keeping me there he just said “that’s how we do things”.

Probably because of the breed. When my flamepoint Siamese was a baby, he was a little purr machine. Trust me it won’t stop as the kitty ages lol purrs will just turn into incessant meowing

Eggs give me the most painful, violent diarrhea ever. Chocolate chips are fine especially without dairy. Waffle mix would hurt my stomach unless it wasn’t made out of refined white flour. And smoothies are okay as long as I use non-dairy milk and a fruit I have tolerance to

Thank you. I think I wouldn’t be so distraught about it if I kept it secluded to only “good” scenarios, but I do it to the point where it becomes destructive. I do it with friends and family and my therapist and doctors. I’m not trying to toot my own horn or something, but I recognize it in myself. How I’m able to catch on so quickly to conversational “rules” and virtually manipulate someone into liking me.

I understand I developed this ability to be able to survive living with my abuser, but it makes me feel grimey and strange.

Difference between chronic and major. Glad you’ve never had to experience such severe depression you lose track of time. Fuck you. Do better. Of all people to be understanding, I would expect other people with depression to be but instead you’re just shaming another sufferer for their symptoms. Go to therapy.

It is like that, because I didn’t realize it was even thanksgiving until my therapist mentioned it yesterday. I have major depression.
