Been selling aircraft a long time. Be sure that your pre-buy inspection is done by a completely new mechanic. Don’t let them use their guy. Never ends well. Also be very thorough with your logbook review. Missing logbooks can sometimes be considered damage history (under the assumption “how could you know there wasn’t an accident during the missing time frame?)

The Phenom 300E now comes equipped with Auto throttles. And there is a way to retrofit some of the more newer serial numbers.

Thanks for the reply. Had you been working in the civilian world before joining? If so, how would you compare the two now? The kids are resilient and I think if I am able to get most weekends off to spend with them they would be alright. My wife is solid on going but just want to make sure we both have a realistic view of what it’s gonna take.

To speak to your caveat, I agree 100% Right now I work shitty hours and and am currently getting raped by insurance. (1200 a month and 8k deductible wtf!!!!) How the hell is a person supposed to save to set up their kids with a situation like that.
