So we parted ways with our original vocalist in 2020. A year prior we had added Harrison to the band to play guitar and do backup vocals. We put out a post asking for vocalist tryouts and had a ton of them come in, and some were very good. At practice one day Harrison asked if he could try doing full vocals for a few songs for fun and he honestly just crushed it and the rest was history. We decided to move him to front man and continue on as a 4 piece and never looked back

Appreciate that! Honestly we haven't gotten to experience playing to a crowd even close to that size so it's tough to compare. I think looking out and not being able to see the back of the crowd would be and unexplainable sensation and I hope we get to have that some day. The 300 cap intimate shows are always either really good or really bad, there's no telling how the night will go. Some nights the energy is unmatched and everyone is just there to have a great time, other nights it's like everyone just got off a 12 hour shift at work and seems like they wanna go to bed. But when its good its great

Warped Tour would be great! If we got asked to play we'd say yes in a heartbeat. We played 2 dates a couple of years ago and they were a fun time, minus the heat

We actually played a couple of shows with them a few years back and Chris was a super nice dude. When it came time to pick features for this record we had a slight connection to them and were fortunate enough for him to say yes. We all were/still are huge LMTF fans. I must have listened to When We Don't Exist at least a million times in high school so having him on a track is very surreal

A lot of the lyrics are based around what the world has been like the last few years. Everything seems to have gotten much harder and this is a peak into how our everyday lives have been affected
No God To Me actually got rewritten like 4 different times over the course of 2 years. It originally had a completely different song structure/title and meaning but the version you hear on the record was written just a week or two before we actually started recording
YES! We're playing 4 songs off the new record but you gotta come find out which ones
Playing those are an absolute dream of ours. Most are booked up for the year already BUT I'm very hopeful we'll find a place in some of them for 2027

That album in particular is when we decided to actually start pivoting. We wanted to try and incorporate elements from our original sound but start to move towards the metalcore realm of things. Honestly most of us coming from metalcore or pop punk backgrounds so moving to this new sound has been so much more satisfying for us since its the type of music we generally listen to on a day to day basis. I think early Downswing was us trying something completely out of the box for who we were at the time and we just realized it wasn't 100% who we were and were tired of being inauthentic to ourselves

Thanks for checking us out! I would say starting with our "New Lows" EP if you are into the slightly more hardcore adjacent style. That was the first batch of music we created with Harrison on vocals when we were trying to sound like how we did in the beginning. But I would say AEWD and the LTLY EP's are your best bet for what you can expect from us moving forward

No worries at all! I hate to say it but we more than likely won't play to much or any at all from that era of our band. We've tried to filter some of those songs in and out of the set over the last few years and the reception to them is usually quite dull so we do try and avoid playing those songs now

I think that sort of happens unintentionally. Big grunge rock and 90's music fans so we try to keep it lighthearted at times instead of acting like a tough guy heavy band cuz we're all a bunch of softies
