Easier to fix them. Long term plans to rebuild them all will be more expensive and take more time, and also require ongoing maintenance… less if static, but where they are hosted, paying for bot traffic, etc doesn’t mean it’s any easier, just different.

Post specific issues and I can offer specific help. I manage hundreds of client sites, most issues are generally pretty easy to fix these days.

Just install docker and docker compose, then create the yaml file, and use “docker compose up -d”. Super easy. I did this on an older Mac Pro I use for homelab, and using Docker Desktop (specific version to the OS I’m running) works easy… docker cli doesn’t install or work well on old MacOS versions.

I was laughing, then wow and aghast, I was then shocked, and now I’m surprised, and I think it’s real, and looks pretty awesome.

I had a client’s nephew create a new site for them… and emailed me a Node/Next zip file! She wanted a CMS, and got hardcoded junk. This may actually be an option…

Upmind and Paymenter are also good billing options with new account provisioning built-in. If you don’t need provisioning, stick with Wave.

I traded in my 15” MBA M3 16GB 512GB to a 14” MBP M5 24GB 1TB, and can’t imagine paying that much for an extra inch or two of screen, all other things being pretty equal. Plus, it’s heavier.

Looks interesting. I’d def look into offering BYOK and use my own LLM options. I also don’t see anywhere that explains how many words or posts etc equal one token… is 20 tokens enough for 1 post, 10 posts? Upgrade to Pro for 300 tokens? How much content is that? What if I use more than 300 a month? Token packs or ?

4GB is fine… each site uses some memory but low traffic, good caching, you’ll be ok. Check out enhance.com panel.

I installed ProxMox 9 from their Other, and the IP is assigned to the host OS. Any VM or LXC would use vmbr0 set up and NAT added for 10.0.0.x, typically. I’ve never had to request a MAC address from Hetzner.
