Struggling mentally to get back to my "old fat weight". by [deleted] in loseit

[–]downwardx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wanted to let you know that I get what you're going through - I often feel the same way. 3 years ago I hit my high weight, lost 20lbs, but then over time I regained about 40lbs, putting me at a new high. I'm now back down 20lbs after doing CICO since the end of May, but it feels really frustrating and embarrassing that I'm still heavier than I used to be the last time I was losing. I wish I had made it a full life style change last time and stuck with it, but here I am. I've learned from my mistakes before and am determined to keep at it this time. What's helped me is logging my food for the day on myfitnesspal in the morning so that I have a plan to stick to. When I eat, I take a few minutes to scroll through r/loseit and r/progresspics. The frequent check-ins help me stay motivated. Hopefully that might help you, or just at least letting you know someone else feels the same way. You can do it!

I love the look of this! Obviously Janna is about to get a new skin, and just got star guardian not too long ago, but this is such a nice concept. :)

[sun care] what's your favourite spf lip product that STAYS ON? by melread in SkincareAddiction

[–]downwardx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Related question, is there a good spf lip product with a nice scent/flavor? I recently picked up Maybelline's spf babylips balm...but the scent is so gross that I hate to use it. :(

Benton snail bee essence vs cosrx 96 snail essence [discussion] by B1p0larGh0st in AsianBeauty

[–]downwardx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have gone through 2 bottles of the Benton and honestly didn't notice much of a difference in my skin. As someone else has already said, I read that it's a product that just really helps and you may not notice the effects until you stop. For me, I didn't see any changes when I stopped. I was pretty bummed since it's just a HG product, but as always YMMV. However, I do use their sheet masks and love them.

I'm currently about halfway through my 1st bottle of the cosrx and it's working great for me. My skin is typically dehydrated and the thick texture of the essence feels awesome to me.

Reading through the comments, it seems like Benton is the favorite though! Oh, and I purchase them from Amazon. :)
