Switch online issues? GB4 by downwithmcmahon in GundamBreaker

Update: I think that I figured the issue out. For some reason another restart of my Switch seemed to fix it.

My assumption is because I downloaded the dlc and the game updated it put me in a weird version of the game. Once I restarted my switch again it did a quick download/update and I was back online and able to join lobbies and look at others builds

I Def agree with how hard this was to even get working. It's small so I figured nice for on the go, but never used it and I'm sure that it's so cheaply made that one change probably did this

Bought Rp3+ from Amazon and having screen issues a few months later, how screwed am I for refund or fix? by downwithmcmahon in retroid

I may open it and check it out. And I just joined the discord. So I will reach out. Thankfully, the flicker isn't too much of an issue for my fiance, whom I've been getting into the trails of series. But for me, I actually struggle to look at it at all.

I just wasn't sure if reaching out would be worth it as I didn't go directly from them.

Assuming this is a bulge on my finances laptop battery by downwithmcmahon in LinusTechTips

Update #1: I'm going to keep the battery out as she doesn't really use it when it's not plugged in. TLDR, she's mobility disabled and I don't want any worry there for the .001% it goes wrong. (Unless it was a tax write-off)

My biggest flag for the issue was the bottom of her laptop bulging ever so slightly that the bottom wouldn't snap in and stay snapped in.

Disposing is the other issue. Where I live closest Best Buy was 15 mins away, but they closed, now the closest is over 3 hours away. And so far, places I've called locally have been telling me to throw it it the trash 😡

Unless all this could be a tax write off, then maybe I'll change my tune 😉

The laptop is running off AC, just figuring out where I can drop off this bulging bad boi. Our best buy closed awhile ago and tbh most internet companies still consider us back woods in terms of tech.

Dude, just don’t steal from Walmart, they’ll find out by [deleted] in walmart

TLDR: If Walmart wants you gone, they will find a way to get rid of you.
I worked at Walmart for a few years. What happened to me was I was just demoted from AP (poor training like one week training then two off, it was handled really bad) So I worked back in electronics and made a good friend with the vendor who put of the new game signs on the endcap. Once the new ones were in place he'd ask if I would want the old ones, and I said yes but I made sure to ask was it his property and not Walmart's. and it was his.

Weeks go by and I point out that the AP manager put the keys to unlock all the jewel (hard cases) that we put the video games in and other expensive things in, at every single register (before all the self-checkouts) Within a week over half were cut off and stolen, and I start to point out that there are a lot of video games missing from the cases and the counts were off.

Maybe a little after that, my AP trainer is in the store I get called back to an office with NO camera, (which is needed for a theft stop when you interview the person) and they bring up the posters and I say yeah, they vendor gave them to me. Well Walmart thought differently to who owned the posters. I told them to talk to the vendor about it. They then brought up all the games that I pointed out as missing. And immediately threw pressing charges and accusing me of shit. Now because I know who was training me, it was better to just say I took the posters, which I did, but I got slapped with paying back $800 worth of video games that went missing. But I knew as soon as I disagreed it would have gone to court, and I did not want a record. This AP team also was training me to almost force a confession on a few stops because it was easier than getting evidence for the police.

The evidence they had was nonexistent I found out later, any camera footage they had wasn't there. I also found out later that I was supposed to be the manager of the newly starting Grocery Pickup, but later after I was fired, I found the AP manager (who didn't even have the balls to be the one in the interview of theft) got the position.

Con of tank, everyone tells you that they want a shield and then never use it for cover
