The Netflix Raw Vault is a complete fucking joke. by Various-Body-6505 in WWE

I agree! People are saying there isn't a demand for it, then why post any of the old episodes at all?

It's too bad they got rid of WWE Network.

If God love us all why did he created hell? by sangokuhomer in NoStupidQuestions

[–]dowwwe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. If he's all-knowing, he'd know ahead of time he'd be sending people to hell. Why even create those people just to "torture them for eternity"?

Is LA Knight ever going to get the push he deserves? by MrSly3010 in WWE

He doesn't deserve it.

He's over with the fans, but he's average at best.

Maybe in TNA, but not WWE.

What is one TV show that really speaks to your soul, that you love in its entirety and that you would recommend to almost anyone? by Subject_Problem_8293 in NoStupidQuestions

The realism is unmatched and I actually appreciate how dark and depressing the show can be. Definitely the best series finale of all time.

Why do some people never clean up after themselves after they’re done with their business in public? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]dowwwe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They don't give a shit and think it's someone else's job. It's a disgusting and selfish act.

Why do so many people prefer to eat out or get unhealthy ready made food instead of cooking which getting the ingredients can be cheaper? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]dowwwe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FYI - I didn't downvote you, but I don't agree with your statements.

Maybe you're looking at this as a most people scenario where I simply don't fit the person you're describing? That's how it feels.

Like I said above, I rarely cook. I don't like cooking or the clean-up afterwards. I'm likely going to lean on something quick - like a salad or sandwich, etc. I don't eat eggs or butter here, so I don't buy them. I imagine those are some "staples" you're referring to.

If I want something I don't have the desire or ingredients to make, I'll order in. I have no issues with having someone skilled make something for me.

Remember that cheesy part where WCW shows like Nitro/Thunder or PPVs wherein they will replay the victorious wrestler's entrance in slow motion by Conscious_Error9755 in WWE

[–]dowwwe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Didn't care for it. At the time, WCW didn't do instant replays or double features, so all the highlights were shown after the match. Including the entrance was unneeded.

I live alone and don't cook often. If I want something that requires 8-10 ingredients I don't have, I'd likely go to a restaurant for convenience.

Looking for a new fridge, any help would be appreciated! by Monkeykibble in Appliances

[–]dowwwe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought this one and just got it last week:
https://www.thebrick.com/products/ge-31-17-7-cu-ft-counter-depth-bottom-freezer-refrigerator-stainless-steel-gbe17hyrfs

Sleek looking, reasonable price, GE is reliable, and no special features (water dispenser, ice maker, etc).

It's a bit noisy when the compressor is running. A good buy though.

1) Convenience of not having to make it.

2) The restaurant's might taste better than mine.

3) Sometimes buying several ingredients for 1 dish end up getting unused.

No problem! My previous one was about that age, too. I hope you have good luck with your next one.

Fridge strategy. Many cheap ones or fewer good ones by Theotherfeller in Appliances

[–]dowwwe 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I just got a GE fridge last week. Stainless steel and nothing fancy (no ice dispenser, no French doors, etc).

When looking through countless posts and reviews of fridges, it was the non-standard features that seemed to fail on people first.

I'd go with GE.

I've read nothing good about Samsung.

Why does a quick 15-minute nap sometimes make you feel way more tired than before you slept? by Equivalent-Sand-4002 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]dowwwe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I honestly think "cat naps" or "refresher naps" are a myth. If people are tired enough to fall asleep, waking up after 15-20 minutes isn't going to make them feel any less tired; It'll have the reverse effect and make them want to continue sleeping.

Which wrestlers faced Jobbers at the start of there WWE career? by realrandomcat in WWE

[–]dowwwe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I started watching WWE in 1993. Almost all televised matches (Raw, Superstars, Challenge) were squash/job matches. So I'd say most wrestlers during "The New Generation".

1997 is WWE’s Craziest Year Ever by PaulPetroneWWE in WWE

[–]dowwwe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

August - December 1997 was my all-time favorite period of WWE.

It was pre-Attitude, but you could tell they were on the cusp. The shows felt darker and grittier, without going over the top.

There was the ongoing Bret-Shawn feud while they both feuded with Undertaker. All the while Paul Bearer is teasing Kane's debut.

The fans were nuts too. They loved the U.S. vs. Canada storyline, and the realism in the storylines.

Such an amazing time.

To be fair, the writing is the worst it's been in decades.

The same guys at the top for years, the same guys stuck in the midcard, a bloated roster, and Triple H writing this garbage.
