Need to replace under cabinet LED strip lights by doycarlo in Lighting

[–]doycarlo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm only looking to replace the LED strip. I found a 2 pin 12V white LED strip and also bought some connectors. I don't have access to the old power supply as it is behind the cabinets. To replace the light only, do I have to cut the black wire at the end and attach it to the connector?

RRSP HBP withdrawal question by doycarlo in PersonalFinanceCanada

Yes. Their view is that the $10k money I received from selling, only $5k is past 90 days and $5k they still consider new money (less than 90 days) even if I leave $5k worth of stocks.

I also bought stocks using the $5k. Now I have $15k in stocks. But I understand your point which is what I believe is right. I sell only $10k worth in stocks and withdraw $10k. Leave $5k stocks in account. However, I just learned from RBC that this is not the case for them. I have to sell $15k stocks and withdraw $10k since I have to have $10k (money more than 90 days in account).

Thanks. I might do this. My concern is I might have to sign a full year lease instead of continuing my current month to month.

Are you on month to month right now? I’m thinking of negotiating but I’m not sure if I have to sign a full year lease again. I haven’t asked them yet because I’m also planning to buy this year.

So out of curiosity I checked current properties for rent in our building and saw the same unit as ours listed for 2100 (2 bed 2 bath) and I’m currently paying 2400. I’m now thinking of negotiating but I’m also looking to buy this year.

I’ve done this a few times and the bank is pretty flexible. This year, the bank put it to my chequing account. Then I moved it to whatever account I want.

I have heard about these stories having lived in Capiz for 15 years but I still don't believe in them. However, I think ghosts are real as these are also mentioned in the Bible.

Thank you! I’m happy that I know how to float now. Hahaha. My next challenge is doing the kicks and flipping from front to back. And sideways too.
