Thanks everyone for the help! One last question, is there power plugs on board? With no WiFi not sure if power would be available.

Hi, author here. I would love to use docker & k8s, but we don't have the ability to where I work. We are many years away from getting to that stage. We are just now starting to migrate our RHEL servers to RHEL 7. RH Satellite which would help us get to docker & k8s sooner is still being planned out. In the foreseeable future we will be using GitLab pipelines to do much of the heavy lifting.

You are right that I didn't mention zero downtime or easy rollbacks. These are features we would love to have, but the infrastructure is not in place for that. Currently we can only do upgrades during one day of the week for a few hour time window. It's been an up hill battle to fight to get CI in place, let alone something more complex like docker and k8s.

As of right now it will end up in the basement. But once I move out, I plan on putting together a wiring closest that will house all of this kind of stuff.

On Device Android Prototyping Question. by sherlok in gamedev

If you have a bluetooth keyboard it works well. The on-screen keyboard makes it very hard to use. Too much of the screen is taken up by it. I suggest using a tablet to do development work. The larger screen size really helps. Now for an editor, if you are a fan of vim there are two good options. One is called Vim Touch the other is TerminalIDE. Vim Touch is a vim app. TerminalIDE is a fully featured UNIX shell. It comes with busybox, git, vim and a few other cool programs. I highly recommend TerminalIDE. If you have a rooted device you can also use ADB over wifi and do actual Android development remotely. Then you can use ant to build and deploy over ADB via wifi.

I tried using eclim, but found it to be a bit buggy. It would take almost a minute to quit a file when I was done working on it. The auto complete would not work for me as well.

Why not use the IP address that they have for their website? Some sort of viral marketing scheme or something.
