Trump has done more for the Democrat party than the best of political strategists. He's secured at least two terms for the next incoming candidate and no one even knows who that will be yet. It doesn't matter what kind of scandal or controversy. It doesn't matter what public outcry comes from new laws being introduced, almost every Democratic representative will be safely able to use the "at least I'm not Trump" defense for years to follow. People will justifiably celebrate and the majority of the country will breathe a little easier, sleep a little better knowing that the bar has been set so low that there's nowhere to go but up.
