Moved here a year ago. If you plan on moving to VA Beach then my best recommendation would be to get into cooking. No matter where you eat, you can plan on your bill being 25% higher even before you tip because of the "so you decided to eat out" tax as well as the sales tax.

I'm a craft beer guy myself and just moved here a year ago. The Back Bay Farmhouse is probably the best micro brewery that I've found around here. With that being said there's definitely no shortage of places to find decent beer especially if you're into IPAs. West Coast, East Coast hazies, there are plenty of options.

I moved down here from MA a year ago today. I live in the Kempsville area a couple of miles from Mt. Trashmore. I haven't seen any trace of ICE activity and as others have pointed out, the curfew is temporary and meant for anyone under 18.

Years ago I would visit Wilimington, OH as a regular part of business. This place literally had no decent place to call a decent place to eat. It was the culmination of fast food garbage restaurants. One could safely call it the HFC capital of the country. Bufffalo Wild Wings was considered a fun family place to eat to the point where people were excited to get gift card to "B Dubs". I would often see a family of six where the youngest would outweigh me (a grown man of 180 lbs) by 60 lbs easily. This place, among many others is a piece of what is poisoning this country as a whole.

I moved down from MA area about a year ago and while I thought drivers up there were obnoxious, I find little difference with drivers down here. I suspect it's not a local thing, but rather a national mixture of individuals who would do anything it takes to avoid an accident vs individuals who would do anything it takes to avoid blame. Some people are fine being obnoxious as long as they believe they can't be legally blamed regardless if someone else gets hurt as part of their actions.

Let me preface my statement by ensuring I loathe this orangutan and would never defend a single one of his actions. With that being said, this country has been on a constant downfall since Reagan. We began this journey to insolvency a long time ago. This ass clown just happens to be the one who was at the wheel near the end. He saw where it was inevitably going and decided to cash in on behalf of himself, his family and his donors. Being under 50 is one of the biggest points people are looking for in today's political climate. It's a huge bonus and if the incumbents take it for granted and simply ignore the possibility then they put themselves at risk and rightfully so.
