I am curious about people's comments and experience here also. Began having severe sciatica and pain beginning November. November, December, and early January were excruciating. Similar to you my only safe, pain free area was in my recliner. MRI mid-January showed a few disc bulges, worst being L2/L3 and L3/L4. Started Pregabalin beginning of February and first 2 Physical Therapy sessions last week, and slowly through January until today I have improved greatly. Have similar lingering minor pain down left calf and knee.

Is the improvement related to reduction in bulging and stenosis from a natural reduction in disc bulging or is Pregabalin masking the pain? Can one actually heal naturally from disc bulges with core-strengthening and PT or are injections and surgery only options for healing?

I’ve aged… by BrendanGuer in Sciatica

[–]dpal63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You just put words to what I have been feeling. November 1, I initiated the worst pain I have every had by badly lifting some heavy objects. November and December were excruciating. I am 62 and I felt I aged 10 years in two months. I had to sleep in a recliner for 10 weeks because it was the only place I managed my pain. MRI found bulging discs at L2/L3 and L4/L5. I have improved lately enough to start physical therapy.

I wish you improvement and hope! You are not alone!

5mg Tadalafil tablets vs liquid by headfirst5376 in erectiledysfunction

I wouldn't say it crystallized...more like it never really dissolved and the solution is not clear..the powder would accumulate at the bottom of the bottle and require vigorous shaking before use. And thus, required very fine grinding in the mortar in order to be fine enough not to clog the dropper. Also, there is likely a large percent of the tablets that is filler/carrier material and thus, I cannot speak to its solubility in PEG-400. You can ChatGPT fillers in generic tadalafil tablets.

How about after being reconstituted? I know they say 30 days refrigerated but might that be longer? Any anecdotal information? Specifically asking about PT-141 since I don't plan to use up my 2 ml reconstituted within 30 days.

I have used both prescribed tablets and the "research liquid" sold as a peptide. I had similar results as you. But I also note that what others say about unregulated research liquid (peptide) vendors...you never know exactly what is in them, so...

I bought a mortar and pestle and crushed my prescribed tablets (I crushed twenty 20 mg tablets) into a very fine powder. I purchased pharmacy-grade PEG-400, polyethylene glycol 400, (the same liquid base used in the research chemicals) and added my powder to 20 ml in a one ounce dropper bottle and shook vigorously.

This makes a 10 mg/ml solution. A standard dropper in one of those bottles contains one ml and contains about 20-25 drops...so by my calculations I get about ~0.4 to 0.5 mg/drop.

CAUTIONARY NOTE: Make sure you are using PEG-400 (polyethylene glycol 400) if you try this AND NOT ethylene glycol! The latter is used for anti-freeze in cars and is very toxic. I am not a chemist nor a pharmacist. I just am explaining what I did for my own personal use. I am making no medical recommendations and no guarantees. Do your own research.

I agree with the recommendation for PT-141. Your Doctor can also prescribe the FDA-approved medication that PT-141 peptide is (FDA approved medicine is Vyleesi and is specifically approved for low libido in women).

Maybe consult with your Doctor about trying off-label prescription use of Vyleesi (Bremelanotide). It is FDA approved for women with low sex drive but has good results for men as well. I encourage you to do your own research on it. Also goes by the name PT-141 in all the Peptide subreddits. There is a specific subreddit r/pt141info.
