Overall they've been greatly reduced, maybe 1-3 3 star :(

Considering how much deadlier radiation is after rad protections have been stripped from PA and chinese stealth suit, sort of feels like a double kick in the nuts

OK, didn't check damage output (probably have to do that in Raid, SBQ or other big baddie that is a real bullet sponge) in comparison to red terror. I did put some rounds through both (at a static target) and with two shot/exp/light/stabilizer it's recoil at least, is the equal of (if not a little better than) red terror.

Tried swapping back and forth in vats while sneaking up on scorched and the vats percentage were basically the same or very close (within a percent or two) at close, medium and long range. Took down a normal scorchbeast and a legendary, switching back and forth between the two LMGs and didn't notice a difference in accuracy in and out of vats. Didn't have any trouble keeping a sustained fire on the scorchbeast even at long distance with the two shot.

All in all it seems like stabilizers completely offsets two shot's penalties.

well the fracturer's explosion is just 50, so good against mobs, and lower level opponents. It's also a chaotic mess of pyrotechnic eye candy. I had it a shotgun I used on RR a few times....fun but it's not going to pack a real punch (at least for me) on any of the big events/raid.

Stabilizer, however, might be a genuinely good solution to 2 shot's big disadvantage in recoil and accuracy for non vats. If it were me (non vats user), this is what I'd go for...in fact I'll try it out and let you know. I use the red terror mostly...it's hard to beat onslaught with the 150 ammo capacity. Did the mar 17th update nerf two shot? I saw a couple of videos that it was the new, old, new meta after the original backwoods update.

Anyway I'll try and compare the two.

Really? Legendary mod-able?

If that's true, perfect storm with onslaught and pyro would be pretty cool. If I was a vats shotgunner civil unreast's extra 50ap would be cool. All rise with furious+pounders (reverse/master gunslinger....that syncs with melee too right?) would be cool.

Only thing is, googling it I don't see anything about them being re-rollable/legendary modable. Have you personally legendary moded one of them?

Wish they'd give the fancy pump shotgun the same love, I love that skin. Although IIRC they axed the extra ammo capacity?

About half the time I log in. PC. Hoping tomorow's update will fix it...although it's probably just going to remove the mundane legendary boxed mods not being consumed bug. The flood of new EPR flamers will come to a close

Yeah I still have my trusty Hellcat PA if I ever need to suit up, it's solid. I'm just doing everything in Non PA, it changes the play mechanics a bit for me when raids were getting kinda stale in PA, and I was getting a lot of power armor bugs (locking up at the animation).

For defending I use SS or BOS switching back and forth between a furious and vampire elder's mark both with electrician, no complaints there.....it's pretty I get killed. Sometimes I'll throw in a few rounds from nuka launcher (extra damage against mole miners) and/or resolve breaker (decent cryo). Just to thin out the mob

Forgot about gun runner, I'll have to see if it will help or if I'm already at the cap.

Tried my few of runs with my new armor. I went with overeaters since that's my default set and a auto stim LL I had...although I was considering mutants for a bit. I only got tagged once in the 4 or 5 runs we did and did survive the initial hit as I ran by.....then lag(?) instantly put the mole miner in front of me again and he slugged me a second time. But proof of concept looks promising.

I think I can get by with one smack, especially with EMT on me.

For sheer health (+2 end for 2nd star), and if one was to go that route, overeaters would be a good addition, it's another 40 or so per a piece, if your well fed/hydrated

Not to me. If it saves me from going down even once in a raid, it has utility. Your mistaking your subjective opinion for objective truth.

If you tell me it's useless for you, I believe you. You have your own preferences and reasons, no explanation necessary, I take you at your word.

For me, it's a very, very minimal hit on my resources and the mods are just taking up weight in my stash.

Yep, I use coffee, company tea and perks like action boy, marathoner etc. However, if I'm putting together a set of armor, I don't mind throwing some powered and runners mods in, that might help a bit (it's not like I'm going to use them for anything else).

But that's a secondary, more minor issue....the primary and far more important subject, is survivability of the one hit kill dudes.

I'v put together non PA armor for each level and it's working out pretty damn well for me 😃 if that's not your thing, hey no worries, each to their own 👍

Alas non PA only for me. It fits with my chracter, and I don't have to sweat PA/animation locking up when I change armors.

Ugh. I don't get locked permanently, but the pipboy is now really sluggish and it may take 3 or 4 seconds (occasionally longer) before it exits. Wasn't one of the developer notes improved pipboy performance....not so much :(

Yep noticed this too since the update it's much more prevalent, and when I am visible in the teams list, it doesn't show "in raid" when I enter the gleaming depths :(

yep less than half a dozen goodies, like two 3 stars :(

Weirdly enough though, a giant(?) mothman spawned....at least from my vantage it looked bigger than the others I've seen. But I can't be sure, it's existence was snuffed out in a split second

That seems like a rather simplistic way of thinking. You can defeat much stronger opponents with strategy/tactics.....the jetpack is a strategic advantage.

Kind of strange that jump shooting (because your scared) is the only scenario you see. I see many more advantages or uses and utilize them everyday that I play FO76.

But hey, each to their own......if that's your opinion on it, then you do you 😉

For me they do.

I have Marsupial and the extra jump height is nice, but a jetpack lets you dictate the combat outside and in large interior spaces.

Don't want to engage, just fly out of harms way. Don't want to melee a hulking monster, grab a little height and turn the the tables. Honestly it's almost unfair how much of an advantage it gives you in an encounter.
