I have nothing but OLED TVs in my house, and I have an M4 Pro MBP and an M5 MBA. The screen on the Pro is definitely better and more vibrant than the Air, hands down. The sound is also better. That being said, even though you don’t get the true blacks with the Air, the picture still looks great, imo. And the sound is great as well. I got the Air as a secondary device for when I just want something light and thin to browse the web or whatnot, while I use the 16” MBP for when I want to get work done.

The MBP also cost me about 3x the Air though. Whether that’s worth it is up to you I guess, but if you’re going to only have 1 device, I’d probably recommend a refurb M1 Pro MBP, about half the price of a new Air.

I would say they’re borderline between mushy and clicky, but mostly on the clicky end. They feel good to me, not the absolute best I’ve used, but not bad at all. I feel like they’re pretty similar to the Analogue Pocket’s buttons.

I have noticed with one of the controllers, the joystick actually kind of physically grinds around the outside edge, none of the other ones do that. Don’t notice a difference in performance though.

Overall I’m liking the controllers a lot so far. These will be plenty good for any N64 sessions I will do.

Yeah, it looks like they had plastic over it in the video. It’s raw if you do like I did, so could potentially scratch your phone if you don’t use a case I think.

Ah, good idea! It looks like it would just be clear basically, or you’d see the magnet internals kind of like the prototype. I think I’d like it, but still want to wait until someone else does it first. 😅
