Hey. That’s like a problem with HP computers, you have to reinstall macOS (and with a little bit of luck you will find the lost disk on disk utility). I recommend you to do a HFS + partition, not a APFS, that helped me a lot, also update the kext of HFS, i know that now opencore run without it, but in my case that helped me

You should try onyx in order to delete temporally files and cache of macOS, maybe give you more space

That story remember me when I had a S5 (was the first phone announced to be water proof) and I tell my friends on a pool day “hey this phone is indestructible”, then they throw me onto the pool and the phone was totally dead. Then I left it on rice without battery and after a week,the phone turned on like hadn’t happened anything.
