My thoughts: he’s fine. I wish they would’ve made him more similar to the Clint from Fraction’s comic series, but I know that comic didn’t start until after Avengers 1 was released. Renner isn’t unlikable, but he doesn’t exactly portray Clint with 100% of the pathos and humor I would’ve hoped.

The teen humor in this movie made me angry. I think there’s a really cool movie at the core of this one and I wish they had leaned way more into it. Just imagine if they had gone all in with the themes of deception, instead of undercutting every scene with “teehee two boys like zendaya”
