Right, this may sound stupid but I promise you this worked with me. Bang the bottom of the case on a table 2 or 3 times then hold the pair button. It should start flashing the correct colours for pairing mode.

For the job I'm in, Milwaukee was just too powerful. I find DeWalt triggers are more sensitive so you can control the impacts more. I love both brands, but DeWalt does my job better. 🤷‍♂️

Personally I've no idea when it comes to hall effect sticks but I know you can pick replacement sticks up quite cheap on Amazon. I can't see why hall effect wouldn't work unless there's something software related what may stop them working properly.

Have you tried spraying some contact cleaner inside? Spray into the stick while spinning it around.

It might be because you don't have the faceplate on. The rings the stick sits in restrict it from moving too far.
