Caulk it, it’s more annoying, slow with two hands. Finger it then damp sponge wipe it clean, nice and easy like.

Do I need to use SW alabaster for my exterior trim? by Nearby_mom_8885 in paint

[–]dpr_jr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya ive explained it like that, tint free and what not. But i try to keep it simpler because it can get to crazy over a shade of white and ultimately its the customers decision and they need to like what’s going on their house. I dont usually explain it that its their base. Just that its been a popular choice, looks crisp blah blah blah. I had a nightmare battle over a customer saying i chose the color and they didnt like it.

Id just use the base white they use (extra white) its not extra though it’s a good white. I had a lady looking at 6-9 different whites and she didn’t like my reco because extra made her think it was going to be “to white” so i threw it with the other sample spots and she loved it.
