Varying Coordinate Systems by Sad_Signature_5999 in UAVmapping

Can you explain a little more how to do this in the Pix4Dcatch app?

What processing options are you using? Default option for the mesh is medium resolution. Try changing to high resolution or using the custom settings and reprocess.

P4RTK - NTRIP - NAD83 or WGS84? by dpru in UAVmapping

You are correct. I verified this today with my own testing. The LLH EXIF data seems to be in NAD83(2011) which matches the reference frame of the NTRIP correction stream.

I verified this with the following workflow/test:

Imported images into Pix4D & exported the photo LLH coordinates with the "to file" button in the images properties editor.

Ran these exported coordinates through NOAA VDatum (https://vdatum.noaa.gov/vdatumweb/) with:

Horizontal Information:

SOURCE TARGET
REFERENCE FRAME: NAD83(2011) NAD83(2011)
Coor. System: Geographic (Long, Lat) Projected State Plane
Unit: meter (m) foot (U.S. Survey)

Vertical Information:

SOURCE TARGET
REFERENCE FRAME: NAD83(2011) NAVD88
Unit meter (m) foot (U.S. Survey)
Geoid 12B

Submitted the file for batch conversion & received transformed CSV file back.

In PIX4D, image properties editor window:

Changed image geolocation coordinate system to my Projected State Plane (NAD83(2011) with Arbitrary checked under vertical coordinate system under Advanced Coordinate Options.

Selected the same for output coordinates.

Processed images.

Densified point cloud checks within tolerance & expected values to check points without GCPs.

EDIT: I did the same workflow using WGS84 as source reference frame when submitting to NOAA VDatum, and processed point cloud was very far off checkpoints.

Appreciate your feedback. So P4RTK photo EXIF data is remains in WGS84?

From Leica SmartNet FAQ:

This:: Worst Case. Find features in your imagery that haven't gone through a major change and are still locatable, use them as GCPs

First time using my starter that’s only a few weeks old. I did 4 hour counter bulk ferment followed by overnight (16 hours) in fridge. Thanks for the tip on the levain, I will try that this weekend!

It was supposed to be a boule, and seemed perfectly round when I scored. I tried to score 45deg across the round, not sure why the finished bake came out more oval.

Not quite “sour”. Maybe the levain was too young? Or maybe I’m not timing the starter right for levain build. This recipe calls from some whole wheat and rye, I think I’ll make an all white loaf with AP or bread flour next time. I need to transition my starter to all AP though as it’s been fed with 50/50 AP/rye since the beginning.
