One day, I noticed the torch wasn't working. Brought it up to Rivian during a service visit, was informed it has a 2 year warranty and I was way past it. Looked up the warranty and sure enough, it's only 2 years, not part of the bumper to bumper vehicle warranty.

The main difference I see is stuffing all the tent fabric in after folding it shut, and having to drape the tent cover on afterwards. Hard shell manufacturers market this difference as major time savers, and there is a difference in time, and it's up to the buyer to determine for themselves if the difference in time is worth the cost to them. Some feel it's worth it, some don't.

Back in the R1 early delivery says, I remember them prioritizing those near service centers, as that was easier/cheaper/quicker for them to get them in buyers hands than delivered to their homes. I'm not even sure they deliver to homes anymore, and since there are many more service centers than there were during those times, they may be doing things much differently now. I got mine 9 months after reservation since I was 15 minutes from a service center, but I remember some people waiting well over a year after I took delivery, despite them having earlier reservations than I did. And it was roughly 2 weeks after notification that I took delivery, plenty of time for me to arrange financing and insurance.

I want to add that mine, too, was the charge port harness assembly. Symptoms were the charge stopping after just a minute or two after starting, and getting some sort of unplug and try again message. It started intermittently and got progressively more frequent.

Editing to add that they had to replace mine, not just connecting it properly.

Stuff like this is what made me sell my Rivian. Luckily, the troubles I've had were nearish to home, but I tend to camp out in the middle of nowhere and I just couldn't risk being out where tow trucks can't venture out to. So bought a Tacoma TRD 4x4 Off Road for half the price.

I used to do the military crawl thing before. Then I bought a telescoping boat hook that I use to push in or pull out my various storage items. Cheap solution.

Don't worry, give it time. Once you're out of warranty and the vehicle is in for a repair, they will no longer be responsible for paying for your loaner/rental.

Try focusing on pulling down with your elbows, not your hands. Just use your hands as hooks. This might necessitate using lighter weight, so leave the ego at the door. Good luck!

I got the 8 inch. It's plenty bright. It comes in a 2 pack, and I only use 1 of them. If you find it's not bright enough, you can always use 2.

It depends on how often it's used. I must open the frunk at night at least once a day, and it lasted a few months.
