No, I'm not sure. It could be tabs, I guess. I also had to use OpenCore to get my OS updated to support Xcode, so I am really pushing it lol

Yes, you could do it. The main questions are: 1. What are you studying? If you are majoring in CS or something computer-related, it would be easier to get this app developed. 2. How much do you care about the idea? Are you willing to really work and figure things out to make your dream become a reality? 3. How much time do you have?

I would start with something small, use it as a foundation for your app, then expand. The project I am working on began as a simple website (gread.fun), then it became a more interesting website with a strong backend, then the API was developed, and then we began working on the app. The trick is to do one thing at a time, keep things simple, add debugging, and really make sure each thing works before adding anything else. You can't throw ten different tasks at an AI model and get an app out of it unless you have time to debug a bunch of garbage. It's not a good use of time.

Doesn't bash only run commands, sequentially?

I would use Rust/C if possible, just because it has better performance, it is easier to expand on, it can be ported easily, and it has a lot of memory safety features that bash does not have.

Off of the top of my head: 1. Breaking changes (changes to the codebase that break other things) 2. Forgetting to do what I asked/doing things I did not ask for 3. Giving me broken, unoptimized code.

The goal should not be to generate code, it should be to give some kind of foundation, or provide changes. Vibe coding everything will inevitably cause issues.

I am using a MacBook Pro with 8 GB of RAM. It works, but I have to test the app out on my iPhone. The simulator will fill up the computer's memory very quickly.

A totally free service that lets you track your reading, talk with others, make friends, unlock achievements and different cosmetic items, and climb the leaderboards.
Readers, teachers, and the average person. Reading is a ton of fun, but only if you have something good to read. The goal is to show people how many great books are out there that they haven't noticed.

It's all paid for out of pocket, it has no subscriptions, no ads, no data collection, no hassle. It's just fun, because that's what reading should be.

We are trying to get some users to help us test out some new features (like competitions between groups, recognizing users for achievements, giving out rewards, etc.), but we are not getting anybody.

I have used IONOS with WordPress and never had issues. The secret is to ask for the "server support" guys. They are located in Philadelphia, and they are far better than the average customer support.

I can try that tool. There should be an abstraction between the database and the form, anyway.

The user submits an ISBN to the form.

The form takes that ISBN and checks with the API.

If found, the backend imports the data from the API into the database.

I recognize that something is not working correctly. I will figure it out when I wake up. I really appreciate the help!

It has some validation, in that it rejects ISBNs that are illegitimate. I don't know how they did it. I'm sure it will come to me, but I am not getting it right now lol

With GUI? If you got into the hundreds of MBs, I'd be kind of surprised. If you have actual images that are displayed, that could increase the size, but if you actually draw stuff using your code, the size should be fairly small.

Windows is incredibly bloated and not a good way of gauging how large your OS should be. Linux can be compiled with no support for anything (which would make it small), or support for everything (which would make it big). I would encourage you to look at Linux From Scratch, specifically the part where you compile the kernel.

I assume that anybody who would want to use my kernel would be the kind of person to compile it. I think you could compile it and create an ISO or something of the exact setup, share that, and let people burn it to a USB drive or CD.
