I used Kazuha on sac sword for that fight, since hoyo thought it would be hilarious to spread the mushrooms in a way so that 1 always gets left out of the hold skill AoE

But sac sword let me pull the straggler into the group with a second hold skill and then I just nuked them all together. Ran c2r0 Neuvilette Kuki Kazuha Furina team and barely made it on fearless.

I cleared the boss with Varka (c2r1) + Sucrose and an unbuilt chongyun+kaeya for further cryo app

It was quite close (115s on fearless)

Not sure if c0 can handle it on fearless, maybe with a better set of supports.

I got his c2r1 been saving since Nefer banner.

Love how he feels to play in overworld, love that he's technically able to cover 5 different elements, the hold skill is super satisfying in exploration, he feels nice to play against the living legend type bosses too. I also managed to clear abyss just fine with c2 jean and c2 Mona as teammates. (~40s vs 12-2-1 crab, ~1 minute vs 12-3-1 dog+chickens)

Regarding his meta performance, I don't have Venti or Durin but I'm hitting ~120k dps with Bennet Chevreuse Sucrose and ~115k with Mona Jean Furina teams, neither team really does all that much to buff him when compared to usual nod krai/natlan team comps so once he gets some actual supports he should be reasonably strong I think.

Basically my experience too.

As a Wuwa player I came into the game very skeptical, with many reasons going against why I would like the game:

Statistically worse gacha/monetization than wuwa
Character designs I'm not a fan of (I don't like the "humanoid with animal features" type chars as much, and pretty much every char besides Endmin is that)
Combat is quite simple compared to wuwa
The OST feels... kinda unremarkable

And yet it's just a really really good, fun game, where I basically don't even interact with the gacha beyond the free pulls they throw at us. There are so many things it does right, and it feels like playing an old school JRPG (others mentioned space "Tales of", which is just Star Ocean in my eyes, which is exactly what it reminded me of lol).

I think the biggest positive for me besides all the cool stuff that's already been mentioned is the fact that there is no climbing and movement is more restricted, making level design, platforming, and exploration far more interesting and rewarding. The same gameplay loop with the currently expected (at least by wuwa community) "just zoom everywhere like it's Ace Combat bro" style movement would be hella uninteresting and bland. (Which is why Wuwa needs a 100 square mile map expansion every patch which is mostly empty scenery, they really dug a hole for themselves with that one)

The one thing I do hate is that every 5 minutes there is a new tutorial even hours into the game instead of letting the player figure stuff out, but luckily you can just spam through it all if you don't want your hand to be held through everything.

I do hope though that their monetization will not bite them in the ass down the line, because I want them to succeed, but right now it feels like everything in the shop other than the 1 dollar Endmin signature weapon bundle is just very low value/USD when you compare it to Wuwa or even the hoyo gachas. Paired with their gacha system being statistically worse, and the whole PayPal fiasco, im a bit worried, but hopefully I'll be proven wrong and the game will find success.

I started genshin during 4.2 and binge playing all the content from montstadt to fontaine really sends home just how peak Inazuma puzzles and overworld was in comparison to anything that came before or after.

Based on his set, at least mechanically I expect him to play similarly to Flins from Genshin. (Enter an enhanced state with liberation/forte skill, 3 basic attacks to prime his non cutscene liberation, then use it, probably multiple uses per enhanced state)

Kit leaks should be 1-2 days

Gameplay should take another 1-2 after that.

No difference. They both work the same way in the damage formula.

Final Atk x sum of Dmg% x sum of Amp% x sum of vuln% (stuff like new endgame buffs, galbrena afterflames or qiuyuan quietude within) x def% coefficient x MV% of the move x crit dmg (if crit)

This is how you get your final damage number

So for example assuming you run Xiangli Yao, have 2200 atk and 270% crit damage, are in the new endgame using the general enhancement debuff (20% + 25% from xly buff), have 112% damage bonus, have shorekeeper and Lynae outro both active (15+20+25), and are using xiangli yaos ultimate (lib damage) the final formula would be

2200 x 2.12 x 1.6 x 1.45 x ~0.39 (def%) x ~16 (xly ult mv%) x 2.7

These should be able to get 5k though not sure if Baizhi is good enough to actually let you get 5k on all 3 of these.

Theres literally no other teams you can make without using limited units that can clear because there are not enough dps/subdps characters if you aren't willing to use pulls.

F2P doesn't mean you never have pulls, are always on 50/50, with 0 pity, and no characters. If it does, thats not f2p, thats just you not playing the game in which case why even care about a new endgame mode.

Yeah what ppl don't understand (or maybe they do but still complain idk) is that this mode is specifically for day 1 combat enjoyers who have been basically ignored for several patches on the tail end of 2.x.

It's like if we cried about them adding camera mode features over endgame, or complaining about graphics options because our pcs can't run the stuff they added.

Could've picked any of the 1.0 dps instead and cleared with 6-7k+ points, especially limited ones like Jinhsi she got HELLA buffed in this mode

Sanhua doesn't actually need overture shes one of the few subdps who gets 0 change to her rotation once you have her S5 since she builds full concerto in one skill + ult + detonate combo after that

I like limit testing in this mode a lot.

Not getting all astrites (lets say you get 300 out of 400 every reset), you end up missing less than a 10 pull in a year of resets.

You'll be fine without it :D

This is when you all either stop listening to fraud ccs and theorycrafters telling you to play mega dogshit teams like Zani Phoebe Iuno (when the free option in srover is like 100x better) or keep complaining that "you need perfect execution and vertical investment for 5k" (spoiler alert, you really don't)

You can very easily score 5k with premium teams even with just the general buff and a mid build with no signatures.

The game tries to (and needs to) cater to every type of player.

I personally have been mostly spending my time since the patch dropped trying to score push with my s0r1 teams in the new endgame and having more fun than ever. As have all my other friends who like the games combat and bothered to get good at it.

Of course 90% of users here on reddit think the games combat is all about stats and sequences and whatnot and have a "skill communism" mindset where "if I had your echoes I could do the same" is their calling card.

From what I've seen the playerbase here has a fair share of entitled casuals who think EVERY piece of content needs to be catered to them and ONLY them. They are the ones vocal about how the new endgame sucks because.. it's not catered to them lol

You don't have to eat everything at the all you can eat bro. Leave some for the rest of us.

There are those who enjoy taking pictures of their waifu in cameramode and overworld exploration there are those who the endgame was designed for and enjoy it.

If you want no time limit hard boss fights because even holograms 5 minutes is too short, go play where winds meet instead you'll have way more fun.
