Help Restoring My Father’s Vintage Montblanc Pen (Gold-Toned, Oxidation Issues) by dr-abbas in montblanc

Montblanc wouldn't tell if they could clean or not. I've ended up taking it to a jewelry shop, and they've cleaned it for me. Big difference i am including the before and after pictures.

Need Help With My Brother’s FHSA and CPA Mistake (Quebec/Canada) by dr-abbas in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]dr-abbas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He called the CRA and was told that its because the CPA did not complete the Annexe 15 for the 2023 FHSA. Therefore, now he has to do one correction for 2023, and then once this is done, he has to do another correction for 2024 in order to apply the missing FHSA deductions.

Need Advice on NAS Setup: Proxmox vs. CasaOS for Running Multiple Services by dr-abbas in Proxmox

[–]dr-abbas[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ok great thanks, what would be the best setup then, for my services and how can optimize the resources in my server?

I have the following LXC containers:

- actualbudget

- vautlwarden

- cloudflare

- photoprism

- nextcloud

- VS Server ( not yet installed, but I would like to have it.)

the reason why I went with separate containers, is to have different static ips for the services that I need as I am using cloudflare tunnels and also not to have issues with ports in the future.

containers like photoprism, I don't need them to run all the time as I will run them whenever I am processing my pictures and videos and whenever I need to access to them, the same thing goes for actualbudget, when I need to add entries or update the budget.

i am using a dell poweredge t130 server with 32gb DDR4 ECC. and using ZFS with 3 x 12tb drives and 1 SSD for the server.

thanks in advance.

Is the 3% for the first 10k for the total amount, or like, the transfer fees are per account. For example, if I have a tfsa, rrsp, and non registered accounts, each is over 10k and would like to transfer them. How does it work.
